Joint Working Committee. The union and members of UMMS management representational units have established a joint working committee. The Committee shall consist of an equal number of representatives from the management team and members of the collective bargaining unit. The committee shall meet regularly as determined by need and shall create an agreed upon schedule. Bargaining unit members who will be attending committee meetings shall be allowed reasonable release time to travel to and participate in scheduled committee meetings. Committee members shall continue to follow the University's policy regarding mileage reimbursement and travel costs affiliated with travel to committee meetings. The committee shall consider joint programs and initiatives to oversee the labor management relationship and to discuss matters of mutual concern between the parties. The committee may consider joint training of its members for mutual areas of interest. The Committee has drafted the following mission statement: The Joint Working Committee, a group of UMASS employees, comes together to work on a common goal, open communication, discuss mutual questions, issues, and/or concerns that exist in the workplace. We strive to reach solutions and improvements that all parties are agreeable to. Our ultimate goal is to enhance productivity and harmony in the work place.
Joint Working Committee. 45.5.1 The parties shall establish a Joint Working Committee (JWC) to address and attempt to resolve sick leave and/or LTD issues.
45.5.2 The JWC shall meet quarterly or as required and will have the broad discretion to consider a variety of remedies to resolve issues within the confines of the Collective Agreement.

45.5.3 Exceptional cases (e.g. LTD recommended employees who do not transition to LTD, employees who have returned to active employments from a medical absence who have not had their LTD recommendations lifted, employees whose LTD applications have been declined) will be referred to the JWC for further discussion. This referral does not preclude further settlement efforts at the local level. Local settlements will be sent to the JWC for review. In the event that the parties are unable to reach agreement, either party may refer the matter to expedited arbitration.
Joint Working Committee. The CBA and the HEABC The parties will appoint representatives to a jJoint wWorking cCommittee within 30 days of ratification. The committee will be comprised of equal representation from the CBA and the HEABC. If the jJoint wWorking cCommittee determines that new benchmarks are required, they will be developed during the term of this agreement. In the event third party assistance is required the process contained in Schedule C will be used to resolve the issues. There will be no cost consequences to the eEmployer as a direct result of this review during the term of this agreement. For greater clarification, any new benchmarks established by the Joint Working Committee may be implemented but will be at no cost to the Employer, unless otherwise mutually agreed. Joint Working Committee. The parties agree to establish a Surplus Staff Joint Committee. The Joint Team will explore opportunities within the Company. Prior to any running of Article the Joint Team will explore the business needs, and retraining opportunities within the Company, tuition opportunities, outplacement opportunities, benefits continuance and any other issues that may arise. The intent is not to unduly compromise the existing rights of the employee but to look at the operational use of Article to deal more effectively with both business and employee decisions.
Joint Working Committee. The parties agree to establish no later than October 2018, a joint working committee comprised of representative members from the bargaining unit appointed by the Association president and management team members appointed by the Superintendent which will meet according to a pre- established and mutually determined calendar for the following purpose: • To study and assemble data on caseload distribution assigned to Chairpersons (including manifestations, initials and re-evaluations), Psychologists and School Adjustment Counselors • To evaluate the delivery of services in the PPS • To make recommendations for adjustments to the current caseload distribution • To present findings to the School Committee at the end of the 2018-2019 school year • To refer any mandatory subjects of bargaining to the respective negotiation teams.
Joint Working Committee. 1. A Joint Working Committee, comprising representatives from the Sides, will be formed to realize the objective of this Memorandum. The Joint Working Committee will be held when there is a need for specialized and technical discussions on the areas, identified in paragraph 2 above, which are among the areas of cooperation addressed by the Agriculture, Environment and Climate Change Subcommittee established under the Joint Declaration on the Implementation of Comprehensive Strategic Partnership Initiative (CSPI) between Japan and the United Arab Emirates signed in September 2022. The Joint Working Committee will report to the Sides and the Agriculture, Environment and Climate Change Subcommittee regularly on the progress of work under this Memorandum.
2. The Joint Working Committee will develop a Plan of Actions (POA) setting out the initial cooperative projects to be pursued. This POA may be updated and modified at each meeting of the Joint Working Committee, as appropriate.
1. The Sides will make their best efforts to promote the joint implementation of cooperative projects and activities in the areas identified in paragraph 2.
2. The Sides will endeavour to involve and collaborate with strategic partners as appropriate, including but not limited to, government and non-government agencies, research institutions and private companies.
3. The implementation of this Memorandum will be jointly decided by the Sides.
Joint Working Committee. The relevant parties shall consult with each other and establish a Joint Working Committee within 4 Business Days after the signing of this Agreement. The duty of the Joint Working Committee is to ensure the smooth operation and transfer of the Target Businesses in the transaction period.
Joint Working Committee. The parties agree during the currency of the agreement to establish a joint working group, within three (3) months of implementation of this agreement, to consider the implications of sub-section 9(3) of the Basic Conditions of Employment Act and incorporate in those discussions, productivity issues for the Industry.
