Labor and Management Meetings. The parties agree to meet semi-annually or when mutually agreed upon for the purpose of maintaining good labor-management relations. Labor and Management Meetings. Upon request from either party both CSI and Union shall meet at a mutually agreed upon time and place to discuss issues within the scope of this agreement. The purpose of the meetings is to enhance communication in order to maintain and improve good labor management relations. A maximum of two (2) employees attending, as Union representatives shall be paid the regular rate of pay to attend these meetings.

Nothing in this paragraph is intended to affect management rights pursuant to Article 7 of this MOU, nor grant meet and confer obligations beyond those specified in existing state law.

Upon request of either party but no more than once every two months, at a mutually agreeable time, Employer representatives and Union representatives shall meet in order to maintain a harmonious relationship between the Employer and the Union. Both parties shall respond within a reasonable time to written requests for information germane to collective bargaining or contract administration. Providing information in the form it exists complies with this provision. Labor/management meetings may be canceled by mutual agreement. These meetings will be non-paid unless the Employer authorizes payment.

Section 1: There shall be a Labor-Management Committee to be composed of no more than three (3) representatives of the Town and three (3) representatives of the Association. Meetings shall be held at mutually convenient times on a monthly basis to discuss matters of mutual concern including, but not limited to, the unit and grade placement of new titles, modification of existing titles, career ladders, working conditions, off site child care, study of compressed work week, study of different health programs, health payments for retirees, blood donor day and possible early retirement incentives, life insurance coverage and upgrades.
