Meal Allowance During Overtime. When an employee is required to work two and one-half (2 ½) or more additional hours beyond the employee's scheduled quitting time on a regular shift, works a prearranged twelve (12) hours shift, or works eleven (11) or more consecutive hours including travel time which are paid at the overtime rate, the employee will be provided a meal or a Meal Allowance of Eleven Dollars ($11.00).
Meal Allowance During Overtime. An employee who has not been notified prior to the commencement of their regular shift that they are required to work overtime and does work more than two and one-half (2½) hours in addition to and immediately following said employee’s normal work period of eight (8) hours that day shall be provided with a hot meal or a meal allowance of ten ($10.00) dollars (effective the first pay period of April 1, 2021, thirteen ($13.00) dollars). This meal allowance shall also be paid to a Live Haul Driver for any trip that is two (2) hours or more one way from the town of Blumenort.

Meal Allowance During Overtime. 17.2.1 Subject to the provisions of 17.2.2, an Employee required to work overtime for more than two (2) hours shall be paid for a “first meal” and, if owing to the amount of overtime worked, a second or subsequent meal is required they shall be paid for a “subsequent meal” for each meal so required. Where payable, payment shall be made at the rate specified in Appendix E. This shall not apply where meals are provided by the City at the City’s cost.
17.2.2 The provisions of 17.2.1 do not apply in respect of any period of overtime for which the Employee has been notified on the previous day or earlier that they will be required.
17.2.3 If an Employee to whom 17.2.2 applies has, as a consequence of the notification referred to in that paragraph, provided themselves with a meal or meals and is not required to work overtime or is required to work less overtime than the period notified, they shall be paid, for each meal provided and not required, the appropriate amount prescribed in 17.2.1.
17.2.4 The Meal Allowance provided under this subclause “Meal Allowance During Overtime” is only payable where the overtime required of an Employee immediately follows a period of ordinary hours and is conditional upon the Employee actually taking an unpaid break of between 30-60 minutes in which to consume the meal.

Meal Allowance During Overtime. An Employee required to work more that one and a half hours before or after ordinary hours (as determined by clause 28.1) shall be paid a meal allowance as follows:
(a) from 15 March 2006 $18.00 per day;
(b) from 15 March 2007 $20.00 per day; and
(c) from 15 March 2008 $22.00 per day.

Meal Allowance During Overtime. If you work authorised overtime before or after your ordinary hours for the day or shift, you will be paid a meal allowance in accordance with the University rates and requirements, as established from time to time, for meal allowance during overtime.
Meal Allowance During Overtime. 9.9.1 An Employee shall be supplied with a reasonable meal at Council’s expense or be paid an allowance of $18.31 at all paid meal breaks prescribed in Stream A Award or this Agreement. This allowance shall be indexed in accordance with CPI (Brisbane September Quarter) on each anniversary of the certification of this Agreement.
9.9.2 All Employees covered by this clause shall no longer be entitled to any allowance under Stream A Award for meals.
Meal Allowance During Overtime. This allowance will be indexed to the salary increases as outlined in this Agreement.
