Authorised Overtime. Authorised overtime shall be payable at time and one half of the Ordinary Rate as follows: • Where an Employee works more than 8 hours on any day (where the hours of work are less than 40 in any working week) or more than 40 ordinary hours in any working week. A working week is defined as starting on a Tuesday and ending on the Monday following. • Periods of leave, and unpaid meal breaks, are not deemed to be time ‘worked’ and therefore are not eligible to be included in overtime calculations. • Where a Shift Supervisor receives a paid meal break in accordance with Clause 7.2, the meal break will not be counted as hours worked for the purposes of overtime calculation. • Where a Shift Supervisor is required to work during a paid meal break in accordance with Clause 7.2, the meal break will be counted as hours worked for the purposes of overtime calculation.

Authorised Overtime. 10.1 Team Members may be required to work reasonable overtime in accordance with the operational requirements of the Company. Team Members will be entitled to overtime for authorised hours worked as follows: (a) When a Team Member works more than 11 hours per day (exclusive of meal breaks); or (b) When a Team Member works more than 152 hours over a 4-week cycle; (c) When a Team Member works more than 20 days in a 4 week cycle (unless the Team Member agrees to work greater than 20 days); (d) When a Team Member works more than 7 consecutive days and the Team Member is not provided with 2 consecutive days off, unless otherwise agreed; and (e) When a Team Member works outside of the ordinary hours of work specified in Clause, 7.1. 10.2 Payment for authorised overtime will be calculated at the Ordinary Hourly Rate of Pay as specified in Clause 3 (i.e. in the calculation of overtime, other additional payments are not to be incorporated on top of the ordinary rate of pay) as follows:

Authorised Overtime. ‌ 4.7.1 Employees may be required to work reasonable overtime hours beyond their Ordinary Hours in order to ensure continuity of service to clients and patients, or to assist the business needs of the Employer. 4.7.2 Employees will not work overtime without the Employer’s prior authorisation. 4.7.3 Hours worked outside an Employee’s Ordinary Hours are to be paid at overtime rates, provided that overtime rates will not apply until the Employee has worked at least 8 Ordinary Hours in that day or 10 hours for Shift Workers, or 76 hours per fortnight.
Authorised Overtime. Overtime is authorised where: (a) the Employee is required or requested by the Employer (including the Employee’s manager, supervisor or program manager) to perform overtime; (b) it is approved, usually in advance, either verbally or in writing by the Employer (including the Employee’s manager, supervisor or program manager); (c) the Employer (including the Employee’s manager, supervisor or program manager) requires the Employee to complete work that cannot reasonably be completed in ordinary time, subject to the Employee having already discussed or attempted to discuss with the Employer (including the Employee’s manager, supervisor or program manager) that they will be unable to complete their work within their ordinary time; (d) the Employee completes seeing a client/patient/customer where this commenced during ordinary hours and continues beyond the Employee’s ordinary hours; (e) For mandatory training, only where prior authorisation by the Employer is given.
