Miscellaneous Leave of Absence a) Job Stewards and/or other elected Officers of the Union may receive leave of absence without pay at the discretion of and prior arrangement with their Manager for other activities not specifically identified above.
Miscellaneous Leave of Absence. 9.1 After having successfully completed three (3) full years of service, any unit member may be granted a leave of absence.

The Board may grant unpaid leave of absence up to one (1) school year in duration for reasons other than those identified above to a Tenured Teacher with a Proficient or Excellent summative rating.
