OFFICE SPACE & FACILITIES. The employer shall ensure that hiring units allocate to employees appropriate and reasonably uniform space (where such space is controlled by the hiring unit), and the use of other facilities, services and equipment as required for the performance of their duties and responsibilities. The employer shall also provide such other reasonable services needed for the performance of professional duties and responsibilities as are offered to other members of the University and can be provided at no additional cost to the employer. An employee who holds a position at Xxxxxxxx College will be provided with access to a mailbox in the department in which the employee holds the position.

OFFICE SPACE & FACILITIES. 15.01.1 The employer shall ensure that hiring units allocate to employees appropriate and reasonably uniform space (where such space is controlled by the hiring unit), and the use of other facilities, services and equipment as required for the performance of their duties and responsibilities. The employer shall also provide such other reasonable services needed for the performance of professional duties and responsibilities as are offered to other members of the University and can be provided at no additional cost to the employer. 15.01.2 Best efforts will be made to provide office space for any employee who holds a position at Xxxxxxxx and who does not have access to other office space. In addition, all employees will be provided with a mailbox in the department office in which they hold such position. 15.01.3 Best efforts will be made to provide office space for any employee who holds a position at Xxxxxxx College and who does not have access to other office space. In addition, best efforts will be made to ensure that employees at Xxxxxxx College will be provided with a mailbox in their department at Xxxxxxx, as well as ready access to photocopying services.

(a) For any conferences or workshops that the Employer requires a Part-Time Academic to attend, the Employer shall pay for all related expenses such as travel, meals, accommodation and registration in accordance with the Employer’s policies and rates. (b) The University and the Union acknowledge the importance of professional development for Part-Time Academic faculty. The Employer shall provide a fund up to a maximum of $5,000 per academic year with awards up to a maximum of $500 per Part-Time Academic. A Part-Time Academic shall only be entitled to one award per academic year. The awards will be evaluated and granted on a first-come, first served basis. The fund shall be used to support employees presenting papers or participating in panels at academic conferences and/or attending relevant professional development opportunities. Proposals shall be approved by the Vice President Academic & Xxxxxxx or designate on the recommendation by the appropriate Xxxx. To be eligible, the Part-Time Academic must be on the precedence list, and hold an appointment at the time of the conference and/or event. Successful applicants will be notified in writing with a copy to the union. (c) At the end of each fiscal year, any funds remaining under Article 18.5

The office will be equipped with electrical outlets and a telephone outlet. The Union will be responsible for any telephone charges, including long distance tolls.

Tenant shall be entitled to use commencing on the earlier of the Commencement Date or Tenant’s occupancy of the Premises, eight (8) vehicle parking spaces within the Parking Structure for the monthly parking of Tenant’s employees. Two of such parking spaces shall be for parking in the reserved covered portion of the Parking Structure, four (4) of such parking spaces shall be for parking in the unreserved covered portion of the Parking Structure, and the remaining two (2) parking spaces shall be for parking in the unreserved rooftop, uncovered portion of the Parking Structure. Tenant’s use of the Parking Structure shall be based upon a non-exclusive use in common with Landlord, other tenants of the Building, and their guests and invitees. Tenant shall not use more parking spaces than said number, or any spaces (a) which have been specifically assigned by Landlord to other tenants or for such other uses as visitor parking or (b) which have been designated by governmental entities of competent jurisdiction as being restricted to certain uses. Landlord reserves the right to erect such security and access and egress control devices as it may reasonably deem to be appropriate (including, without limitation card controlled gates) and Tenant agrees to cooperate fully with Landlord in such matters. Tenant shall not permit or allow any vehicles that belong to or are controlled by Tenant or Tenant’s employees, suppliers, shippers, customers, or invitees to be loaded, unloaded, or parked in areas other than those designated by Landlord for such activities. If Tenant permits or allows any of such prohibited activities, then Landlord shall have the right, without notice, in addition to such other rights and remedies that it may have, to remove or tow away the vehicle involved and charge the cost to Tenant, which cost shall be immediately payable upon demand by Landlord.

  • Office and Facilities The Executive shall be provided with appropriate offices and with such secretarial and other support facilities as are commensurate with the Executive's status with the Company and adequate for the performance of the Executive's duties hereunder.

  • Common Facilities “Common Facilities” includes all areas, facilities, utilities, equipment and services provided by Landlord for the common use or benefit of the occupants of the Property, and their employees, agents, customers and other invitees, including without limitation building lobbies, common corridors and hallways, restrooms, pedestrian walkways, driveways and access roads, access facilities for disabled persons (including elevators), truck serviceways, loading docks, garages, driveways, parking lots, landscaped areas, stairways, elevators, retaining walls, all areas required to be maintained under the conditions of governmental approvals for the Property, comfort and first-aid stations, parcel pick-up stations and other generally understood public or common areas. All Common Facilities shall at all times be subject to the exclusive control and management of Landlord. Landlord shall have the right, without liability to Tenant, to relocate, alter, improve, or adjust the size and location of any Common Facilities from time to time, and Landlord shall have the right from time to time to establish, modify and enforce reasonable rules and regulations with respect to the Common Facilities. Landlord shall have the right to construct, maintain and operate lighting facilities on the Common Facilities; to police the same; from time to time to change the area, level, location and arrangement of parking areas and other facilities; to restrict parking by tenants, their officers, agents and employees to employee parking areas; to enforce parking charges (by operation of meters or otherwise), with appropriate provisions for free parking ticket validating by tenants; to close all or any portion of the Common Facilities to such extent as may, in the opinion of Landlord’s counsel, be legally sufficient to prevent a dedication thereof or the accrual of any rights to any person or the public therein; to close temporarily all or any portion of the Common Facilities; to discourage non-customer parking; and to do and perform such other acts in and to the Common Facilities which Landlord shall determine, using good business judgment, to be advisable to improve the convenience and use thereof by tenants, their officers, agents, employees and customers. Subject to the foregoing, Tenant may use all Common Facilities not within the Premises, under a revocable license, on a nonexclusive basis in common with other tenants. If any such license is revoked, or if the amount of such areas is diminished, Landlord shall not be subject to any liability and Tenant shall not be entitled to any compensation or abatement of rent, nor shall such revocation or diminution be deemed constructive or actual eviction.

  • Working Facilities During the Term of Employment, the Company shall furnish the Executive with an office, secretarial help and such other facilities and services suitable to his position and adequate for the performance of his duties hereunder.

  • Shared Facilities The Parties acknowledge and agree that certain of the Shared Facilities and Interconnection Facilities, and Seller’s rights and obligations under the Interconnection Agreement, may be subject to certain shared facilities and/or co-tenancy agreements to be entered into among Seller, the Transmission Provider, Seller’s Affiliates, and/or third parties pursuant to which certain Interconnection Facilities may be subject to joint ownership and shared maintenance and operation arrangements; provided, such agreements (i) shall permit Seller to perform or satisfy, and shall not purport to limit, its obligations hereunder, and (ii) provide for separate metering of the Facility.
