OHS. Ensure requirements of the Occupational Health and Safety Act 2004 are followed. This includes ensuring work is undertaken safely, injuries, accidents, near misses and potential hazards are reported immediately, and as required employees participate in or support consultative structures including the OHS Committee. Participate in the established quality and safety systems to ensure that safe high quality care is provided to all clients at all times. This includes assisting CBCHS to maintain quality accreditation standards by identifying and participating in the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives. Take reasonable steps to protect themselves, their colleagues and clients from injury or harm. This includes ensuring that adequate supervision/support is provided to all clients. Familiarise themselves with and abide by the CBCHS Code of Conduct and ensure that their actions are in accordance with the CBCHS values and organisation policies and procedures. Assist CBCHS to promote awareness to the community that consumer, carer, and community participation at all levels of the organisation is encouraged. This includes encouraging community participation in surveys, focus groups and committees as required. Additionally, Primary Health employees must contribute as relevant to CBCHS health promotion plan by working collaboratively with other health professionals.

OHS. The Company is committed to providing a safe, healthy accident free working environment. OH&S is both an individual and shared responsibility. To this end the Company requires it’s employees to comply, at all times, with the Company’s OH&S booklet, containing policies and procedures. Failure to comply with OH&S requirements shall result in the counselling and disciplinary procedure being invoked. Serious breaches of OH&S requirements may provide grounds for Summary Dismissal.

OHS a) In performing its obligations under the Agreement, the Supplier and its Personnel and sub- contractors, at its expense must: i. maintain a workplace safely and without risk to the health and safety or welfare of any person and in accordance with the requirements of all OHS Laws and enable GVW to comply with OHS Laws; ii. if required by GVW, accept the appointment ofPrincipal Contractor’ for the Site and discharge the relevant duties under OHS Law; iii. provide such information, instruction, training or supervision to any person as necessary to enable that person to perform their work in a way that is safe and without risks to health; iv. provide and comply with an occupational health and safety system of work approved by GVW, or comply with the occupational health and safety system of work provided by GVW, as required by GVW; v. complete a GVW General Induction and applicable site-specific induction prior to commencing any works on a Site; vi. complete and supply to GVW before the commencement of, or during, works any required general occupational health and safety plans, job safety and environmental assessments, safe work method statements, and/or permits to perform works as directed by XXX; vii. promptly notify GVW of any incident as required by OHS Laws and any other injury, near miss, safety related incident which occurs during the performance of the Agreement; and viii. promptly remedy any health and safety related non-compliance as notified by GVW.

OHS. 19.1. The Company is committed to maintaining a safe and healthy workplace. This will be achieved through implementation of appropriate OH&S policies, and the involvement of management and Supervisors through OH&S committees. 19.2. Working safely is a condition of employment. All personnel including management, Supervisors and contractors will be expected to work in a safe manner. 19.3. Supervisors shall not be required to perform work that is the subject to a reasonably held bona fide safety concern. 19.4. The Company will provide suitable safety and wet weather clothing as deemed appropriate for the work performed. 19.5. Where safety equipment, PPE, Personal Clothing Issue or MSIC Card is provided it shall be worn.
OHS. 13.1 Each party accepts that it is an "employer" in its own right as defined in the Occupational Health and Safety Act, 1993, as amended from time to time ("the OHS Act"), and that it must fulfil all its obligations as an employer in terms of the OHS Act and the Regulations thereunder ("the OHS Regulations"). 13.2 The Customer warrants that it is familiar with all the relevant sections of the OHS Act and OHS Regulations and that it has taken and will continue to take all the steps necessary to comply with the OHS Act and OHS Regulations and that it shall at all times comply with all laws, including but not limited to those dealing with the conditions of work of its labour, the safety of the work performed and the health and safety of all persons on the site at which such work is performed. The Customer must ensure that its employees do not do or omit to do any act which would be an offence in terms of the OHS Act and to take all reasonable steps to prevent any such act or omission. 13.3 The Supplier must ensure that its employees, agents and representatives are provided with and, at all material times, wear adequate personal protective equipment for the work they may perform and in accordance with the requirements of General Safety Regulation 2(1) of the OHS Act. 13.4 The provisions of this clause are intended to satisfy the requirements of the OHS Act, and in particular, but without limiting the generality of the aforegoing, the provisions of section 37(2) of the OHS Act.
