OTHER VOLUNTARY DEDUCTIONS. The Board agrees to make payroll deductions for P.E.O.P.L.E. (Public Employees Organized to Promote Legislative Equality) with proper authorization from the employee.
OTHER VOLUNTARY DEDUCTIONS. Upon receipt of signed authorization of the employee, the Employer agrees to deduct from the pay of each employee a voluntary amount designated for Membership Plus contributions. Monies so deducted shall be transmitted by a check separate from the check remitted for payment of dues, monthly. Such deduction shall remain in effect unless increased, decreased or cancelled by written authorization from the employee; a copy of such written authorization shall be provided to the Union.
OTHER VOLUNTARY DEDUCTIONS. 1. The District agrees to deduct from the salaries of its regular teachers as requested by the teacher including the following approved voluntary deduction categories:
a. Charitable Donations
b. Voluntary Insurance Programs
c. Savings Bond contributions A listing of other voluntary deduction programs available within the above deduction categories is set out in Appendix C. Bargaining unit members may sign up for any other voluntary deduction program set out in Appendix C or which becomes available pursuant to subsection B of this Article.
2. In order to facilitate the processing of voluntary deduction payment transfers, if electronic fund transfer (EFT) payments can be made to a voluntary deduction program set out in Appendix C (or added pursuant to Section B), the District will establish an EFT mechanism for such programs and all payments to such programs will be made on the monthly payroll date.
3. In the case of non-EFT payments to a voluntary deduction program, the District will use its best efforts to transfer payments within 5 working days of the monthly payroll date.
4. In the case of an EFT payment voluntary deduction program, any bargaining unit member may request that an additional voluntary deduction program be added, however, the parties agree that no new non-EFT voluntary deduction program will be added unless 10 or more District employees sign up to participate.
OTHER VOLUNTARY DEDUCTIONS. Upon appropriate written authorization from the employee, the Board shall deduct from the salary of any employee and make appropriate remittance for any other plans or programs approved by the Board.
OTHER VOLUNTARY DEDUCTIONS. The Employer agrees to deduct from each bargaining unit employees pay all authorized dues, fees, and assessments as determined or required by the Union. The Employer shall make such deductions from the employee's paycheck following receipt of written authorization. The authorization shall remain in effect until or unless revoked in writing by the employee or the Union. The amount deducted and a roster of all employees using payroll deduction for voluntary deductions will be promptly transmitted to the Union by separate check payable to the Union and identified as Voluntary Deductions, at the same time as the monthly remittance of dues. The Employer reserves the right to ensure that the authorization of payroll deductions complies with applicable Federal and State laws regarding deductions from wages. The Employer may require an additional authorization form as per its policies and procedures, to confirm the specific authorization for continued paycheck deduction.
OTHER VOLUNTARY DEDUCTIONS. The District shall, upon appropriate written authorization from any unit member, deduct and make appropriate remittance for insurance premiums, credit union payments, savings bonds, charitable donations, or other plans or programs jointly approved by the CSEA and the District. The District shall pay to the designated payee within fifteen (15) days of the deduction all sums so deducted.
OTHER VOLUNTARY DEDUCTIONS. A. The Employer agrees to deduct from the wages of any employee who is a member of the Union, a deduction for a WPEA program fund. Written authorization must be requested in writing by the employee and may be revoked by the employee at any time by giving written notice to both the Employer and the Union. The Employer agrees to remit electronically, on each state payday, any deductions made to the Union together with an electronic report showing:
1. Employee Name
2. Personnel number
3. Amount deducted; and
4. Deduction code
B. The parties agree this section satisfies the Employers obligations and provides for the deduction authorized under RCW 41.04.230.
OTHER VOLUNTARY DEDUCTIONS. The Employer agrees to deduct the sum specified from the pay of each member of the Union who voluntarily executes an authorization form for the Union’s Membership Plus Benefits Plan (MPB), so long as the data is received from a union in the manner specified by the Employer. The employer shall be able to communicate directly with the Union as needed to solve technical issues with data files. When filed with the Employer, the authorization form will be honored in accordance with its terms. The authorization form will remain in effect until revoked in writing by the employee. The amount deducted and a roster of all employees using payroll deduction for MPB contributions will be promptly transmitted to the Union by separate check payable to its order. Upon issuance and transmission of a check to the Union, the Employer’s responsibility shall cease with respect to such deductions. The Union and each employee authorizing the assignment of wages for the payment of MBP contributions hereby undertake to indemnify and hold the Employer harmless from all claims, demands, suits or other forms of liability that may arise against the Employer for or on behalf of any deduction made from wages of such employee. The amount deducted shall be included as a separate item on the monthly dues report and The Employer will remit such contributions to the Union by a separate check payable to the Union within thirty (30) days after each pay period.
OTHER VOLUNTARY DEDUCTIONS. Upon receipt of signed written authorization from any employee, the Board will withhold specified amounts from the pay of such employee and, within ten (10) days or such other time as may be requested, will pay such withheld amounts for the following purposes:
OTHER VOLUNTARY DEDUCTIONS. The Board agrees to deduct from the wages of any employee who is a member of the Union a PEOPLE deduction as provided for in a written authorization. Such authorization must be executed by the employee and may be revoked by the employee at any time by giving written notice to both the Board and the Union. The Board agrees to remit any deductions made pursuant to this provision as directed by the Union together with an itemized statement showing the name of each employee from whose pay such deductions have been made and the amount deducted during the period covered by the remittance. The Board shall deduct from the amount transmitted to the Union, $0.04 per deduction and $10.00 per transmittal. The Board shall not be liable to the Union for the remittance of payment of any sum other than that constituting actual deductions made from the wages of members. The Union shall indemnify and hold the Board harmless against any and all claims, demands, suits or other forms of liability including, by way of example and not limitation, the cost of any judgment against the board and the reasonable value of any attorney fees incurred, that may arise out of or by reason of action taken by the Board or not taken by the Board for the purpose of complying with any provision of this section.
