Paid Education Leave Fund. The employer shall contribute three ($.03) cents for each paid employee hour to the UNIFOR - Canada Paid Education Leave Fund.

Paid Education Leave Fund. The Employer also agrees to pay on a yearly basis by April 1 of each year a lump sum amount of four thousand five hundred dollars ($4500.00) for the purpose of providing Paid Education Leave as set out in clause 13.11. All such monies to be paid into a special trust fund established by the National Union, UniFOR and sent by the Employer to the following address: UniFOR P.E.L. Paid Education Leave Fund. The employers agree to remit five (5) dollars per month worked by each regular rotation employee to the Paid Education Leave Fund of Unifor. Payments will be made to this Fund on a quarterly basis. The Union agrees that the training will be consistent with current safety, health and industrial relations programs on the platform and that the employers will be provided the opportunity for input. The primary purpose of this fund will be to provide training to Hibernia Platform employees. The Union agrees to provide the HPEO with an annual Fund audit. The HPEO or the Union may cancel participation in the Fund by providing thirty (30) days written notice to the other party prior to the expiration of the term of this agreement.
Paid Education Leave Fund. The Hospital agrees to pay into a special fund, two thousand dollars ($2,000) each year of the collective agreement for the purpose of providing paid education leave. Xxxx paid education leave will be for the purpose of upgrading the employee skills in all aspects of trade union functions. Paid Education Leave Fund. 27.01 Effective February 1, 2017 the Company will no longer make remittance to the Health and Safety and Industrial Relations Training Fund (“HSIRTF”). Effective February 1, 2017 the Company agrees to remit 3 cents ($0.03) per hour for each full time employee’s regular hours of work to the Paid Education Leave (“PEL”) Fund. Effective February 1, 2018 the Company agrees to remit 5 cents ($0.05) per hour for each full time employee’s regular hours of work to the Paid Education Leave (“PEL”) Fund. The Union commits to maintain the principles and governance established with the HSIRTF for administration and reporting PEL activities to the Company.
