Paid Status. An Operator shall not receive wages for a paid holiday unless he/she reports for work on his/her last scheduled work day before the holiday and the first scheduled work day after the holiday, or is on a paid status on such days. Paid status includes an absence for which sick leave is paid or for an industrial accident or for an absence as a result of an assault.
Paid Status. In order to be eligible for holiday pay, an employee must be on paid leave status on his or her regularly scheduled workday before the recognized holiday.
Paid Status. For purposes of this Contract, "paid status" shall include hours of actual work as well as all hours of approved paid leave, including holiday, personal, vacation, injury, military, compensatory, funeral and sick leave.
Paid Status. In order to be eligible for holiday pay, an employee must be on paid status on his or her regularly scheduled workday before the recognized holiday or be on paid status the workday before a VTO (Voluntary Time Off) preceding a recognized holiday as listed in Section 25.1.
Paid Status. For purposes of determining entitlement to overtime pay, all hours during which an employee is in full paid status (i.e. holidays, sick leave, vacation, compensatory time off, or other full-paid leave of absence) shall be considered as time worked.
Paid Status. Union representatives who are called by the employer to a meeting or incident shall be in paid status.
Paid Status. Employees will remain in paid status with the District during the period of leave as long as utilizing appropriate and approved accrued leaves (i.e., sick, vacation, CTO) balances. The accrued leave balances that may be used varies, depending on the type of leave of absence (FMLA, Bereavement, Military) taken. Employee benefit accruals, such as vacation, sick time, and holiday benefits, will continue during an approved leave of absence as long as the employee remains in paid status.
Paid Status. A member of the bargaining unit is considered to be in paid status when they are using sick, vacation or compensatory time or any other time compensated by the employer.
Paid Status. During a weather-related or other emergency event, an employee shall remain on paid status at all times the employee is on County premises between work assignments, or is otherwise required by the County to be available for work.
Paid Status. No absence under any paid leave provisions of this Article shall be considered as a break in service for any employee who is in paid status, and all benefits accruing under the provisions of this Agreement shall continue to accrue under such absence.
