Power Dispatcher. A Power Dispatcher shall undertake work associated with all aspects of power system operation and market operation as assigned. A Power Dispatcher must hold or has held a ticket for Journeyman/woman Operator/Area Dispatcher, and is a Certified System Operator accredited by relevant agencies or organizations as required. The provisions of this part are not intended to limit or restrict in any way the jurisdiction of the Union’s bargaining unit as described in Article 3(a) hereof or to allow managers to perform work now performed by Power Dispatchers. A Trades Training Instructor shall be a Journeyman/woman. The Instructor will supervise, instruct and demonstrate safe and efficient work methods and procedures, and electrical theory on the distribution, transmission, and station systems in the classroom and in the field. The Instructor provides supervision, instruction, demonstration and assistance on all aspects of live line work as required. The Instructor organizes lessons and materials and may assist in the development, review and revision of course content. The Instructor will maintain progress reports and records related to the training of Apprentices. In classroom training situations where an employee is assigned to teach skills to employees the temporary Instructor will be paid the appropriate Xxxxxxx/ woman's percentage wage note rate for their classification in accordance with Article 11(d).
Power Dispatcher. A Power Dispatcher is an employee who holds or has held a ticket for Journeyman/woman Operator/Area Dispatcher. The duties of a Power Dispatcher shall be to have charge of the power system operation while on shift under the direction of the Systems Operations Supervisor. Their duties shall include the issuing of instructions in regard to switching, authorizing clearances, proper load distribution and general directions essential to the safe, efficient and proper operation of the system. These duties shall also include clerical work and recording incidental to power system operation, communications with area control centres in the matter of service interruptions, as well as dealing with system disturbances and restoration of interrupted service. Their jurisdiction shall include control of the integrated system generation, H.V. transmission, interconnections and related functions with equipment provided for the purpose. They shall be advised in advance, as far as practicable, of such system changes as may affect their duties. The provisions of this part are not intended to limit or restrict in any way the jurisdiction of the Union’s bargaining unit as described in Article 3(a) hereof or to allow supervisors to perform work now performed by Power Dispatchers. The Systems Control Centre will be manned by at least 12 Power Dispatchers. A Journeyman/woman Power Line Technician shall undertake any work required to construct, repair or maintain transmission and distribution lines on poles, towers and structures, such work to include patrolling of circuits, inspections as assigned, emergency repairs, repairing of street lights, makes distribution transformer connections, investigates customer complaints and interruptions, notwithstanding the duties assigned to a Meter Technician installs and removes meters, keeps themselves familiar with lines and the distribution portion of substations, refuses transformers and disconnects, makes collections and connects and disconnects services, operates or switches on lines. A Power Line Technician including a Power Line Technician designated P.I.C. will not operate any station apparatus equipped with supervisory control. In addition they shall undertake the framing, erection, stringing and terminating of all wire buses and overhead lines supported by strain type insulators in outdoor substations.   • Cell Phone Employee shall be provided with a cell phone, with e-mail capabilities, at Board expense. As a condition of receipt of said cell phone, employee is expected to be reachable as necessary and appropriate by the Superintendent and Board President for the thorough and efficient operation of the School District. Incidental personal use shall be permitted. Employees shall have the option of being reimbursed for the use of a personal smartphone in the amount of fifty dollars ($50.00) per month instead of accepting a district cell phone. As a condition of this reimbursement, employee must a) be reasonably available at all times via the personal phone; and b) take reasonable measures to protect the confidentiality of student and staff information being transmitted to and through said phone.

  • Dispatching 1. Dispatchers will schedule and assign drivers and vehicles in accordance with the trips scheduled for each day; 2. Dispatchers will assist drivers while they are in service to carry out the assigned trips on time by providing address assistance and telephoning passengers as needed. 3. Dispatchers will monitor the performance of scheduled trips, reassigning trips and/or adjusting the number of vehicles in service as needed to ensure on-time performance in the most efficient manner. 4. Dispatchers will provide continuous monitoring of assigned radio frequencies during all hours that vehicles are in service, answer and respond to telephone calls on the Ride Status line, and respond to calls from drivers and OoA staff.

  • Single Point of Contact The Contractor must provide, at the request of the Authorized User, a Single Point of Contact (SPOC) regardless of the breadth of the services being provided. The Contractor is required to provide the name and contact telephone numbers (desk, cell phone etc.) of the SPOC. The Authorized User may retain a percentage of each deliverable payment of no more than twenty-five (25) percent until the acceptance of the complete Implementation. This retainage may be reduced up to 5 percent as described in the SOW, when the Contractor substantially reduces the time required from the timeframes negotiated between the Authorized User and the Contractor. When the right is reserved in the RFQ, unanticipated enhancements to the services procured not exceeding a cumulative twenty (20) percent of the Implementation Service cost may be agreed to by the Authorized User. Such inclusion must be included in the Total Cost Evaluation. Such unanticipated enhancements will require a written Authorized User Agreement revision, which for NYS Agency Authorized Users will include an amended Purchase Order. Any changes that will result in exceeding this twenty (20) percent will require a new competitive RFQ. Contractor shall notify the Authorized User in writing when a requested scope change will exceed the cumulative twenty (20) percent total value of the Implementation Services.

  • Cellular Phone Executive is eligible to receive one cellular telephone issued through the Employer's corporate account for use on the Employer's business. The phone will remain the property of the Employer and must be returned upon termination of Executive's employment with the Employer.

  • Cellular Telephone Executive shall receive reimbursement for reasonable expenses associated with Executive's use of a cellular telephone in performing his services.

Assist County staff in project related issues with other Agencies, or departments, engineering and material testing support firms, CEQA consultants, utilities agencies, etc. g. Assist in community outreach meetings and media relations h. Review for acceptance/approval of Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) in accordance with the general Permit of Discharges of Storm Water Associated with Construction Activity (Construction General Permit, including dewatering/diversion plans per the State’s DeMinimus Permit).
