Professional Responsibility Stipend. The South Whidbey School District and the South Whidbey Education Association agree and affirm the following beliefs:
a. The success of the South Whidbey School District is dependent upon hiring and retaining the highest quality certificated staff.
b. Providing a quality education for students requires from certificated staff a commitment to the profession beyond the base contract, normal workday hours and school year.
c. State law allows additional compensation for additional time, additional responsibilities, or incentives (TRI).
d. The additional commitment required of South Whidbey certificated staff cannot be accurately measured in hours or days.
e. The time necessary to fulfill any one certificated staff member’s responsibilities will vary from that of another, as determined by the individual’s own professional judgment. For the reasons stated above, the District will provide a stipend as defined in Appendix B, Professional Responsibility Stipend Schedule, as an incentive to provide the additional services required of all certificated staff members in the South Whidbey School District outside of the basic contact. The professional stipend recognizes that employees provide a professionally responsible level of service in the following areas which is above the basic contract:
a. Preparation of the classroom or workspace before, after, and during the school year for quality instruction or support of instruction;
b. Building activities outside of the workday, such as fall and spring open houses, curriculum nights, parent education nights, school and community functions, and concerts.
c. Self-reflection, goal setting, and related professional growth activities such as workshops, classes, conferences, seminars or research projects;
d. Grade level, department, building and/or District committees, task forces, processes, and activities; and
e. Fulfillment of basic contract expectations that may fall outside the regular workday such as the planning of instruction and curriculum, the evaluation of student work, the preparation of student assessments, the preparation of summative progress and grade reports for timely distribution, IEP and Section 504 meetings, and communicating with parents and students. Employees shall document the completion of these activities on a mutually agreed upon form once per year.
Professional Responsibility Stipend. The Mount Xxxxxx School District and the Mount Xxxxxx Education Association agree and affirm the following beliefs:
1. The success of the Mount Xxxxxx School District is dependent upon hiring and retaining the highest quality certificated staff.
2. Providing a quality of education for students requires from certificated staff a commitment to the profession beyond the basic contract, normal workday hours and school year.
3. State law allows additional compensation for additional time, additional responsibilities or incentives. (TRI)
4. The additional commitment required of Mount Xxxxxx certificated staff cannot be accurately measured in hours or days.
5. The time necessary to fulfill any one certificated staff member’s responsibilities will vary from that of another, as determined by the individual’s own professional judgment. For the reasons stated above, the District will provide a stipend as defined in the Professional Responsibility Stipend schedule in Appendix II as an incentive to provide the additional services required of all certificated staff members in the Mount Xxxxxx School District outside of the basic contract and Instructional Improvement Days/Hours. Payment for this professional responsibility stipend shall be made in twelve

Professional Responsibility Stipend. Pay for additional responsibilities or activities beyond the base contract and normal workday shall be granted. This may include, but is not limited to, in- service training, individual planning and preparation for instruction, classroom preparation, reports, grading, conferences, student assessment, professional development and end-of-the-year check-out activities. Professional Responsibility Stipend shall be Appendix A-1 and shall be 4.5% in 2015-2016 and 6% in 2016- 2017.
Professional Responsibility Stipend. A professional responsibility stipend equivalent to ten (10) day's pay at per diem rate shall be paid through a personal services contract in a lump sum on the June warrant. The days shall be accounted for by submitting a Professional Responsibility Stipend Verification Form to the superintendent by May 15 of each year. Per diem shall be determined by dividing the principal's annual salary by 218, which is the number of work days (260 contract days - 12 holidays - 30 vacation days= 218 work days).
Professional Responsibility Stipend. A professional responsibility stipend equivalent to nine (9) days shall be paid through a personal services contract in a lump sum on the June warrant. The days shall be accounted for by submitting a Professional Responsibility Stipend Verification Form to the superintendent by May 15 of each year.
Professional Responsibility Stipend. Pay for additional responsibilities or activities beyond the base contract and normal workday shall be granted. This may include, but is not limited to, inservice training, individual planning, and preparation for instruction, reports, grading, conferences, student assessment, and end of the year check out activities. Up to six (6) hours to be used for building or district activities such as open house, back to school nights, staff meetings outside the workday and other uses as determined by the shared decision making process at the building level. Plans for use of this time must be made by the Monday following the October inservice day. In 2007-2008 that stipend shall be 5.25% (equivalent to 9.56 days) of the employees XXX cell In 0000- 0000 the stipend shall be 6.04% (equivalent to11 days) of the employees XXX cell. Professional Responsibility Stipend. As an incentive to provide the additional services 8 required outside the base contract and supplemental work days, the District will provide a 9 Professional Responsibility Stipend (PRS) to all certificated staff members in the District.

Professional Responsibility Stipend. The District will provide a Professional 9 Responsibility Stipend as determined by the employee’s placement on the negotiated 10 Professional Responsibility Stipend Schedule, as an incentive to provide the additional 11 services required of all certificated staff members in the Tacoma School District outside 12 of the base contract and supplemental work days. Payment for this Professional 13 Responsibility Stipend shall be made in twenty-four (24) equal installments. A part-time 14 employee will receive a pro-rata share of this stipend based on the employee’s full-time
