Professional Responsibility Stipend. As an incentive to provide the additional services 8 required outside the base contract and supplemental work days, the District will provide a 9 Professional Responsibility Stipend (PRS) to all certificated staff members in the District.
Professional Responsibility Stipend. A. The District and the FEA both recognize the need for professional educators to continue their personal staff development, for the district and the building and/or department to meet together to plan, to have in-service training, or other activities consistent with the evaluation criteria and the performance indicators contained in Appendix VI. Employees working in the interest of the school district on curriculum building and planning, observing other employees both within and outside the district, serving as experts in programs other than their own teaching programs, or visitations to observe programs in other districts, may be given released time from their regular duties with full pay. Released time may be given on the same basis for attendance at workshops or conferences, which are in the interest of the district. Such released time will be planned and arranged with prior, written approval by the building Principal and Superintendent.
Professional Responsibility Stipend. The District will provide a Professional 9 Responsibility Stipend as determined by the employee’s placement on the negotiated 10 Professional Responsibility Stipend Schedule, as an incentive to provide the additional 11 services required of all certificated staff members in the Tacoma School District outside 12 of the base contract and supplemental work days. Payment for this Professional 13 Responsibility Stipend shall be made in twenty-four (24) equal installments. A part-time 14 employee will receive a pro-rata share of this stipend based on the employee’s full-time
Professional Responsibility Stipend. A professional responsibility stipend equivalent to nine (9) days shall be paid through a personal services contract in a lump sum on the June warrant. The days shall be accounted for by submitting a Professional Responsibility Stipend Verification Form to the superintendent by May 15 of each year.
