Responsibilities and Activities a) Participates in the periodic evaluation of the Building and By-law Departments. Provides necessary analysis of plans, policies and provides advice and guidance with the Director & CAO to Council in an effort to maintain an economical and efficient operation at the desired level of service. b) Develops and maintain standard operating procedures and policies within the Shared Building and By-law Services (SBBS) framework and across departments, ensuring consistency and compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., driveway numbering, Complaint Policy). c) Coordinate the implementation of by-laws across all participating municipalities, ensuring uniformity in enforcement practices and adherence to legal standards. d) Reviews and maintains accurate and up-to-date record keeping for the Department. e) Monitors departmental performance against established goals and objectives, conduction regular evaluations and implementing corrective actions as needed to improve efficiency and effectiveness. f) Drafts operating and capital budgets of Departments for presentation to Council; discusses plans, priorities and costs with the CAOs and CAO/Clerks and considers alternative methods of achieving objectives for services under their control. g) Exercises financial control of the Department in terms of approved budgeted expenses. Responsible for reviewing the purchases of goods and services within the Managers authorized limits under the Municipality's purchasing policies and tendering procedures. h) Manages and administers service contracts for the Departments. Responsibilities and Activities. The Parties shall use their best efforts and supply the necessary resources to effect the following: 2.1 BEVI shall provide a sufficient number of its personnel and/or consultants to assist CPLY in the manufacture and marketing of its products. BEVI shall also market CPLY's products to its existing customers. 2.2 CPLY shall agree to market BEVI products to its existing and pending customers and make available its personnel and other resources in sufficient number and quantity to carry out the goals as agreed by the Parties.

Responsibilities and Activities. 7.1 (NAME OF INSTITUTE) shall undertake to perform the Project Work under this AGREEMENT with all reasonable skill, diligence and care in accordance with sound industry practice to the satisfaction of OECT and accept full responsibility for the satisfactory quality of such services as performed by them. 7.2 As per the project proposal,(NAME OF THE PI) shall be the Principal Investigator who shall be leading and guiding the project team for achieving the objectives and deliverables, as per agreed scope of work. A Co-Principal Investigator shall also be identified to prevent loss to the project and OECT, and in such an event, both shall be responsible for carrying out the assigned Project Work. The Co-PI shall function as PI in the absence of PI and should be totally in knowledge of the activities of the Project Work. 7.3 If the PI to whom the project has been sanctioned by OECT wishes to leave (NAME OF INSTITUTE), the (NAME OF INSTITUTE) will inform the same to OECT in advance and in consultation with OECT: (i) Evolve steps to ensure successful completion of the project by appointing a new PI, or (ii) Designate the Co-PI as the PI before relieving the PI in consultation with OECT. 7.4 OECT on its part has designated Project Manager-…………………. of OECT as the Project Coordinator (PC). 7.5 All required administrative support and infrastructure facilities by way of provision of desired quality of work space, water, electricity, communication and other required infrastructure facilities etc. for smooth implementation of the Project Work shall be provided by (NAME OF INSTITUTE) to the PI and the project team. 7.6 (NAME OF INSTITUTE) shall undertake to carry out the Project Work and related studies, as per the scope of work and deliverables etc. defined in this AGREEMENT within the agreed time frame and budget by employing competent personnel. 7.7 (NAME OF INSTITUTE) shall deploy qualified research personnel for achieving all the goals set out under the project, in accordance with laid down procedure for recruitment followed by (NAME OF INSTITUTE). 7.8 All the Personnel including Research Personnel, appointed by the (NAME OF INSTITUTE) under the project, for full/part duration of the project, are to be treated as project personnel on contract to the (NAME OF INSTITUTE) and will be governed by the Administrative rules (for leave, TA/DA etc.) of (NAME OF INSTITUTE), as applicable for contract project personnel.
