Rotating Overtime. The Company shall attempt to rotate and spread overtime work as evenly as possible among the employees in the department of which the overtime occurs. It is understood that permanent employees shall have preference in the selection of overtime.

Rotating Overtime. When it becomes necessary to work overtime, employees in a particular department shall be called first utilizing the procedures outlined in Section 2 of this Article. When additional work force is necessary after the department has been called out, the remainder of the Bargaining Unit work force shall be called next, the criteria being seniority and qualifications.
Rotating Overtime. Any bargaining unit member who verbally declines an offer of overtime three (3) times in a semester shall be removed from the overtime roster for the remainder of the school year, except in the case of extenuating circumstances. Overtime includes building checks which shall be rotated on a seniority basis among Custodians. The list shall be posted in a conspicuous place for inspection by bargaining unit members. All telephone calls to bargaining unit members for the purpose of overtime will be made by a supervisory employee of the Board or its designee.   • Daily Overtime All employees shall be paid the applicable overtime rate of time and one-half (1-1/2) for all time worked in excess of eight (8) hours per day.

  • Weekly Overtime An Employee required to work in excess of forty (40) hours per week shall be paid at the rate of time and one-half (1 1/2) for the first eight (8) hours of work in excess of the forty (40) hours and double time thereafter.

  • Emergency Overtime In the event of an emergency as defined in Section 13.15 notwithstanding the terms of this Article, the Agency Head or designee may assign someone to temporarily meet the emergency requirements, regardless of the overtime distribution.

  • Holiday Overtime An employee required to work on any of the above-named holidays will be paid holiday pay plus payment for the number of hours worked at the rate of time and one-half (1-1/2) his regular straight time rate of pay.

  • Payment of Overtime 5.5.1 Subject to the provisions of this sub-clause, all work performed outside of the ordinary hours of any day, Monday to Friday, inclusive, will be paid for at the rate of time and one half for the first 2 hours and double time thereafter.
