SAFETY EQUIPMENT AND SUPPLIES. 34.1. Where required by the applicable provincial safety legislation or where working conditions warrant the wearing of protective clothing and/or footwear and the use of protective tools and equipment, the City shall provide protective clothing, footwear allowance, tools and/or equipment as follows: 34.1.1. Costs for the purchase or repair of approved safety footwear shall be reimbursed, upon presentation of a receipt, up to a maximum of two hundred and fifty-five dollars ($250.00) per year. In the event an employee does not use his full reimbursement in any one year, he may carry the remaining portion into the next year to a maximum of five hundred dollars ($500.00). 34.1.2. Temporary employees hired by the City in the Utility Helper classification shall be provided, upon initial employment with the City and presentation of a receipt, with a maximum reimbursement of seventy-five dollars ($75.00), and an additional seventy-five dollars ($75.00) thereafter on June 1st in each subsequent year that the employee is recalled and is actively working. 34.1.3. Approved fire resistant outerwear shall be provided and cleaned by the City, where required. Outerwear shall be replaced when it is damaged or worn beyond repair. 34.1.4. The tools and equipment as laid out in the established tool lists, or in the applicable provincial safety legislation, shall be provided by the City.

The Employer shall provide both latex-free and powder- free options for gloves, and shall dispense the gloves in such a manner as to safeguard the sterile conditions. If such a situation arises where there are insufficient supplies or materials, the employee will report the situation immediately to his/her supervisor. The Employer will make a good faith effort to provide assistive technology, (i.e., Xxxxx lift, lift belts, etc.) for client transfer.

The Employer will make a good faith effort to provide assistive technology, (e.g., Xxxxx lift, lift/gait belts, etc.) for client transfer and to train employees for their use.
SAFETY EQUIPMENT AND SUPPLIES. A. WELDERS EQUIPMENT Welders will be supplied with chipping hammers and wire brushes, plus gloves as they are required. Welders with their own welding xxxxxxx shall have them repaired or replaced, if necessary, at no cost to themselves. A supply of welders jackets shall be maintained for the welders use.

SAFETY EQUIPMENT AND SUPPLIES. The Board shall supply custodial and maintenance staff with safety equipment and supplies as prescribed by the Occupational Health & Safety Act. The employees shall wear and utilize the equipment and supplies. Safety shoes will be provided to custodians, maintenance staff and the delivery drivers as required, but not more frequently than once every twelve months. The selection of a supplier(s) will be made in accordance with Letter of Intent – Number #3. The purchase will not exceed one hundred and twenty-five ($125.00) dollars for custodians and the delivery driver. The maintenance staff will be allowed one hundred and sixty ($160.00) for CSA and Omega work boots as prescribed above.

  • Equipment and Inventory With respect to any Equipment and/or Inventory of an Obligor, each such Obligor has exclusive possession and control of such Equipment and Inventory of such Obligor except for (i) Equipment leased by such Obligor as a lessee or (ii) Equipment or Inventory in transit with common carriers. No Inventory of an Obligor is held by a Person other than an Obligor pursuant to consignment, sale or return, sale on approval or similar arrangement.
