Employees with no prior recognized experience will be placed on year zero. Placement will continue per years of experience as indicated on Schedule A. Upon hire by the District, employees with prior public school experience as a paraeducator will be placed on the Salary Schedule as described above with regard to their previous experience. The District may consider applicable experience in an assignment similar to the paraeducator role in a private or non- profit organization for placement on the salary schedule.
