Salary Schedule Determination. 1. The salary schedule for certificated teachers shall be an index schedule with experience increments to be determined each year at negotiations. 2. The bachelor's degree with the first year of experience shall have a value of “1.” 3. The levels of education for the schedule shall be designated as Column 1, B (Bachelor's Degree); Column 2, B + 15, Column 3, B + 30; Column 4, M, B + 45; Column 5, M + 15, B + 60; Column 6, M + 30, (B + 75 grandfathered FY16). 4. For 2020-2021 the minimum salary shall be equal to $40,000. 5. The district and the VEA agree that it is in the best interest of all parties to calculate salaries on the calculating base of the salary schedule.
Salary Schedule Determination. A. Salary Notice All classified personnel will be notified of their salaries on or before July 1st of each year. A bargaining unit member who performed substitute service for the Board in his/her job classification before being hired as a regular employee will receive a year of experience credit on the applicable salary schedule for each year (July 1st through June 30th) of prior substitute service in which the person actually worked at least sixty-five percent (65%) of the number of work days that constitute that classification's regular work year. Otherwise, prior substitute service will not be counted toward salary schedule experience credit.
Salary Schedule Determination. The Board agrees to pay all members of the LPDC and all members of the Student Growth Committee an annual stipend equivalent to .03 of the BS-0 Step of the Salary Schedule. The Board agrees to pay all teachers serving as a mentor teacher under the entry year program an annual stipend equivalent to .04 of the BS-0 Step of the Salary Schedule.

B. School Nurses who have a Bachelor’s degree, qualify for crediting of previous experience, but have not completed 30 semester units after the Bachelor’s degree or the appropriate clear credential, shall be exempt from placement at “Entry Level Salary”; shall instead, be placed on Column 1; and shall advance on the salary schedule in accordance with the Agreement for unit members. C. Unit members placed on “COLUMN 1” of the Salary Schedules by the agreement (Appendix C1) between the Association and the District shall advance on the schedule in accordance with that agreement (Appendix C1). D. All college or university credits which will qualify a unit member for a new salary placement must be verified by official college or university transcripts in order to justify a contract revision. Such college or university credits must be obtained from an institution of higher learning which is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges or other recognized accreditation organization. Salary revision shall be effective following District approval (as stipulated by this Article) of the necessary credits for column advancement. E. The unit requirement for each salary column is stated in semester hours of credit; quarter hour credits can be converted into semester hours by multiplying 2/3. F. For salary schedule purposes, only semester units earned after the completion of the Bachelor’s Degree shall be considered. G. Credit will not be granted for any course for which less than a "C" grade is earned. H. Unit members shall not enroll in courses which conflict with the work day. I. A major teaching field is considered to be 36 semester hours (12 of which must be upper division or graduate), a minor teaching field is considered to be 20 semester hours (8 of which must be upper division or graduate). J. Repeat credit may be granted for a course taken at an accredited institution in which the content field has recently undergone substantial change or, in the case of a course originally taken many years ago, an updating of study is desirable. K. Course work, for salary credit must be upper division, graduate level, or transferable* lower division courses, taken at an accredited college or university, and must conform to one or more of the following guidelines: 1. Units may be taken in a subject directly related to the teaching/work assignment. 2. Units may be taken in a subject directly related to a person’s major or minor. For unit members in a self-contained classroom program; a subject commonly taught in the elementary school. For unit members in a departmentalized classroom program; courses in an additional major or minor. 3. Units may be taken in a subject directly related to an advanced degree in professional education or in a subject related to the teaching/work assignment. 4. Units may be taken in a subject directly related to a credential or certificate authorized by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing. 5. Units may be taken in a Board authorized, District sponsored, professional activity. Credit equivalent will be adopted at the time of such Board action. *A transferable lower division course is a lower division course taken at an accredited college or university that is acceptable for baccalaureate graduation credit at another accredited college or university. L. The submission of transcripts for columnar advancement of the salary schedule is limited to two (2) submission dates per school year. Additional units may be banked for future salary schedule advancement. M. Transcripts for completed units must be submitted to the Human Resources Division no later than the first of September or February for salary adjustment. Adjustment for qualifying units submitted no later than the first of September will be retroactively made effective on the first work day of the school year. Adjustment for qualifying units submitted no later than the first of February will be retroactively made effective on the first work day of the calendar year.

  • Termination Date Determination Seller will not designate the Termination Date (as defined in the Receivables Sale Agreement), or send any written notice to Originator in respect thereof, without the prior written consent of the Agent, except with respect to the occurrence of such Termination Date arising pursuant to Section 5.1(d) of the Receivables Sale Agreement.

Effective the first full pay period of July, 2017, employees who meet the eligibility criteria provided in Section 2 of this Article shall receive a one percent (1%) increase in salary rate. B. Effective the first full pay period of July, 2017, employees who meet the eligibility criteria provided in Section 2 of this Article shall receive an additional one percent (1%) increase in salary rate due to the realization of the FY’18 tax revenue trigger threshold. C. Effective the first full pay period of July, 2018, employees who meet the eligibility criteria provided in Section 2 of this Article shall receive a two percent (2%) increase in salary rate. D. Effective the first full pay period of July, 2019, employees who meet the eligibility criteria provided in Section 2 of this Article shall receive a two percent (2%) increase in salary rate. Section 12.2 Employees who receive a "Below" rating on their annual EPRS evaluation shall not be eligible to receive the salary increases provided in Section 1 of this Article, nor any step increases. Employees who receive a "Below" rating will have their performance reviewed on a monthly basis in accordance with Article 24A of this Agreement and will become eligible for the salary and step rate increase previously denied effective upon the date of receiving a "Meets" or "Exceeds" rating. Section 12.3 The salary rate for new employees hired, reinstated or re-employed on or after July 1, 1990 shall be Step 1 for the job group of his/her position except in cases where a new employee is hired by a Department/Agency at a salary rate, approved by the Chief Human Resources Officer, above Step 1. However, new employees shall not be recruited into Unit 3 positions without the prior written agreement of the Union. A. Under the terms of this Agreement, an employee shall advance to the next higher salary step in his/her job group until the maximum salary rate is reached, unless he/she is denied such step rate by his/her Appointing Authority. An employee shall progress from one step to the next higher step after each fifty-two (52) weeks of creditable service in a step commencing from the first day of the payroll period immediately following his/her anniversary date. B. In the event an employee is denied a step rate increase by his/her Appointing Authority, he/she shall be given a written statement of reasons therefore not later than five (5) days preceding the date when the increase would otherwise have taken effect. Time off the payroll is not creditable service for the purpose of step rate increases. Section 12.5 Whenever an employee paid in accordance with the salary schedules provided in Appendix A of this Agreement receives a promotion to a higher job group, the employee's new salary rate shall be calculated as follows: 1. For employees who are below the maximum step within their current job: a. Determine the employee’s current salary rate and step within his/her current job group; then b. Find the salary rate of the next higher step within the employee’s current job group; and c. Multiply the employee’s current salary rate by one and three one- hundredths (1.03); then d. Compare the higher of the resultant amounts from b) or c) above to the salary rates for the higher job group into which the employee is being promoted. e. The employee’s salary rate shall be the first rate in the higher job group that at least equals the higher of the resultant amounts from d) above. f. In the event the application of the above formula results in a salary that is less than the amount the employee would receive had he/she been promoted to the next lower grade, the employee’s salary upon promotion shall be increased to the next higher step in the grade the employee is being promoted into. 2. For employees who are at the maximum step within their current job: a. Determine the employee’s current salary rate and step within his/her current job group; then, b. Multiply the employee’s current salary rate by one and three one- hundredths (1.03); then, c. Compare the resultant amount from b) above to the salary rates for the higher job group into which the employee is being promoted. d. The employee’s salary rate shall be the first rate in the higher job group that at least equals the resultant amount from c) above. A. Salary rates of full time employees are set forth in Appendix A of this Agreement, which is attached hereto and is hereby made a part of this Agreement. B. The salary rates set forth in Appendix A shall remain in effect during the term of this agreement. Salary rates shall not be increased or decreased except in accordance with the provisions of this Agreement. C. Employees shall be compensated on the basis of the salary rate for their official job classification. Section 12.7 A regular part-time employee shall be entitled to the provisions of this Article in the proportion that his/her service bears to full-time service. A. An employee entering a position within a bargaining unit covered by this Agreement from a position in an equivalent salary grade in a bargaining unit not covered by this Agreement shall be placed at the first step-in-grade up to the maximum of the grade, which at least equals the rate of compensation received immediately prior to his/her entry into the bargaining unit.
