Salary Support. Staff members whose professional development leave has been approved shall be entitled to salary support during the leave period of five and one-half percent (5.5%) of basic annual salary for each year of continuous full-time service since the start of employment or since return from the last professional development leave, as the case may be, to a maximum of sixty-six percent (66%) of annual salary. This salary support will normally be distributed evenly over the total leave period, but in no case shall exceed one hundred percent (100%) of the salary that would normally be paid in that period.

2.1 The ARC will provide $104,316 (2019$), including 30 per cent on-costs, as salary each year for three years.

The salaries in this Agreement are based on 2020$ rates. Salary funding includes a 30 per cent loading to cover salary-related on-costs, including payroll tax, workers compensation, leave loading, long-service leave, non-contributory and contributory superannuation, but it excludes items such as extended leave and severance pay. On-costs that exceed 30 per cent and other costs (such as costs associated with or incurred as a result of extended leave and severance pay) must be met by You. A DAATSIA’s salary may be used for other purposes to support the project in exceptional circumstances without extension to the Project End Date. A variation must be submitted for prior approval of any such circumstances. You must: employ the DAATSIA for the duration of the Award; allow the DAATSIA to undertake their Award on a part-time basis not exceeding eight consecutive years. ARC approval for the conversion to part-time must be requested by submitting a variation; ensure the DAATSIA has access to the following leave during the Project Activity Period: paid parental leave subject to the provisions of Your enterprise agreement. Funds for up to 14 weeks paid parental leave can be claimed from the ARC by submitting a variation; a leave of absence for recreation at the rate of four weeks per annum by arrangement between the DAATSIA and You. The ARC will not provide additional funds to cover accrued leave proposed to be taken after the Project Activity Period. Salary Support. 3.1 We will provide salary at the levels in Table 1 below each year for 4 years. Level A or B Level 1 (1.0 FTE) $170,848 per annum (2023$) including 30% on-costs. Level C Level 2 (1.0 FTE) $206,818 per annum (2023$) including 30% on-costs. Level D and E Level 3 (1.0 FTE) $242,783 per annum (2023$) including 30% on-costs.

Salary Support. 6.1 Subject to the limits set out in clauses 6.1, 6.4 and 6.5, and to DDMG’s and DDMG FZ-LLC’s compliance with its obligations under this Agreement, the Initial Studio Lease and the Dedicated Studio Lease, if applicable, twofour54 shall, in Years one (1) to six (6) of the Term only, pay to DDMG (MIDDLE EAST) FZ-LLC fifty per cent (50%) of the Salary at any time, paid to each DDMG Employee (Salary Support) provided that:
6.1.1 in Year 1, the Salary Support is available only to DDMG Employees, and where such employees are on secondment from DDMG to DDMG (MIDDLE EAST) FZ-LLC for a period of no less than six (6) months such secondees to be no more than ten per cent (10%) of the DDMG Employees for whom DDMG (MIDDLE EAST) FZ-LLC is claiming Salary Support;
6.1.2 for each remaining Year of the Agreement, the minimum period of any secondment and the maximum number of secondees for which DDMG (MIDDLE EAST) FZ-LLC shall be entitled to claim Salary Support shall be agreed between the Parties in good faith, provided that in no event shall the maximum number of secondees be more than ten per cent (10%);
6.1.3 the Salary Support excludes any statutory, contractual or discretionary severance payments for the termination of DDMG or DDMG Employees’ employment agreements;
6.1.4 the DDMG Employees rent or own residential property (including serviced apartments) in the United Arab Emirates and work exclusively and on a full time basis for DDMG (MIDDLE EAST) FZ-LLC in the Media Zone. If a DDMG Employee does not rent or own residential property (including serviced apartments) in the United Arab Emirates and work exclusively and on a full time basis (including those DDMG employees seconded in accordance with clause 6.1.1) for DDMG (MIDDLE EAST) FZ-LLC in the Media Zone, the Salary Support shall not be available to such DDMG Employee;
6.1.5 DDMG (MIDDLE EAST) FZ-LLC provides supporting documentary evidence of DDMG Employees’ Salary (in the form of copies of salary remittance slips in the name of the relevant DDMG Employee certified by a Director of DDMG (MIDDLE EAST) FZ-LLC) and proof of rental or ownership of residential property (including serviced apartments) in the United Arab Emirates (in the form of a lease or equivalent document in the name of the relevant DDMG Employee) for all DDMG Employees for whom DDMG is claiming the Salary Support attached with each quarterly invoice;
6.1.6 salaries paid to DDMG Employees are reasonable and proportionate in respect of the industry, ...
