Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays. (a) Overtime worked on a Saturday will be paid for at the rate of time and one half ordinary time rates for the first two hours and double ordinary time rates thereafter. Employees required to work on a Saturday will be afforded a minimum 4 hours work, or be paid as if for 4 hours at the aforementioned overtime rates. Provided that when a site is restrained (by Council restriction) from commencing work before 9.00am on a Saturday, all overtime will be paid for at double ordinary time rates, and a minimum of 4 hours work shall be paid. To be entitled to payment for the 4 hour minimum, employees must remain on site for that period and be available for normal work. An employee working overtime on a Saturday, Sunday or Public Holiday shall be allowed a 30 minute combined Rest Period/Crib Break after four hours work, such time to be paid as per subclause (d)i hereof, with a further 20 minute Crib break to be paid as per subclause (d)ii hereof if the overtime continues past 8 hours worked. In the case of overtime work being cancelled by the Company at the end of the 4 hour minimum or any time thereafter, employees will, in addition to the payments as prescribed, be paid for the 30 minutes combined Crib/Rest Period (see (d) hereof). If work proceeds beyond the 4 hours minimum then employees will be paid for all time so worked.
(b) Overtime worked on a Sunday will be paid for at the rate of double ordinary time rates.
(c) Overtime worked on a Public Holiday will be paid for at the rate of double time and one half ordinary time rates.
(d) In all cases the payment for meal and rest breaks will be:
i. one 30 minute combined Rest Period/Crib Break paid at the appropriate rate and taken at an agreed time during the morning;
ii. a further 20 minute Crib break paid at double ordinary time rate if total worked hours are in excess of eight hours.

Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays. 11.2.1 All overtime worked on a Saturday or Sunday will be paid for at the rate of double ordinary time rates. Employees required to work on a Saturday will be afforded a minimum 4 hours work or be paid as if 4 hours was worked, provided that when a site is restrained (by council restriction) from commencing work before 9:00 am on a Saturday, all overtime will be paid for at the rate of double of the all purpose rates, and a minimum of 4 hours work must be paid.
Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays. Where pursuant to this Lease the day on or by which any act matter or thing is to be done is a Saturday or a Sunday or a public holiday such act matter or thing may be done on the next succeeding day which is not a Saturday or a Sunday or public holiday.
Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays. 1. As a rule of thumb, work is not carried out on Sundays and public holidays and - for linen rental and laundry companies - on Saturdays. For a definition of public holidays, refer to Article 1, Paragraph 10 of the collective bargaining agreement.
2. If a public holiday falls on a day on which the employee would normally work, continued payment of wages applies on the basis of the wages that the employee would have earned if the day had not been a public holiday.
3. If work is performed on a Saturday, Sunday or a public holiday, an allowance shall be granted on the hourly wage in accordance with Article 15 and Articles 28 and 29.
Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays. (a) Saturdays and Sundays
(i) All ordinary hours worked on a Saturday shall be paid for at time and a quarter.
(ii) Overtime worked on a Saturday which is continuous with ordinary hours on such day shall be paid for at the rate of time and three quarters for the first three hours and double time thereafter.
(iii) Overtime worked on a Saturday which does not follow the working of ordinary hours shall be paid for at the rate of time and a half for the first three hours and double time thereafter.
(b) All work done on Sundays shall be paid for at double time.
Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays. (a) When required to work overtime on a Saturday, Sunday or Public Holiday, employees will be afforded a minimum of four (4) hours pay at the appropriate penalty rate as detailed below;
(b) All hours worked on a Saturday will be paid as follows;
(i) the first two (2) hours worked will be paid at time and a half (1.5 times) the Employee’s ordinary hourly rate;
(ii) all hours after the first two (2) hours will be paid at double time (2 times) the Employee’s ordinary hourly rate
(c) All hours worked on a Sunday will be paid at double time (2 times) the Employee’s ordinary hourly rate;
(d) All hours worked on a public holiday as defined in Clause 23 of the Agreement, will be paid at double and a half (2.5 times) the Employee’s ordinary hourly rate.
Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays. (a) Overtime worked on a Saturday will be paid for at the rate of time and one half ordinary time rates for the first two hours and double ordinary time rates thereafter.
(b) Overtime worked on a Sunday will be paid at double time.
(c) Overtime worked on a public holiday will be paid at double time and a half
(d) Minimum payment for working on Saturday, Sunday or a public holiday is 4 hours at the applicable rate as per (a) to (c) above.
(e) An unpaid meal break of 30 minutes and a paid crib time of 20 minutes (payable at the applicable overtime rate) are to be observed just as they are on any working day.
