Section 7.5.1. 12 Paraeducators filling in for secretary staff for a period of two (2) hours or more, excluding 13 breaks and lunch coverage, shall be paid a differential rate of one dollar and ninety cents 14 ($1.90) per hour.
Section 7.5.1. 24 An employee who is separated from District employment during the course of a work year shall 25 be entitled to receive accrued and unused vacation days. Such payments will be figured on a 26 prorated basis and be included in the employee's final payment.

Section 7.5.1. 33 Any position that will be unfilled for more than five (5) workdays shall be made available to 34 members on a seniority basis by building, within the classification and the remaining 35 position(s) may be filled with a substitute. In the event the employee is assigned to more than 36 one building, he/she will choose which of his/her assigned buildings will be primary for 37 application to this provision. He/she will notify the Superintendent, or designee, in writing by 38 June 1 of each year for approval, which building will be his/her primary building assignment. 39
Section 7.5.1. 19 The District will establish shifts for transportation personnel in relation to routes, driving time, 20 and all other regular duties assigned by the transportation supervisor. The established shift 21 time will be based on time required to perform all regular duties assigned. Regular run 22 assignments shall be based on seniority. That is: the longest run in time shall be offered to the 23 most senior driver and continue in this manner through all drivers.
Section 7.5.1. 38 In the event that a route is canceled on a particular day, such as absent student(s), etc., the driver and/or 39 bus assistant will be paid at their normal drive time rate of pay and will be required to drive a route 40 currently being filled by a substitute. In the event no such route is available, the driver will be required 41 to perform additional duties, including but not be limited to cleaning/washing buses, student discipline, 42 route updates, cleaning and organizing student bus equipment, stocking cleaning and bus supplies, etc. 43 If none of those duties are available, drivers can be utilized to shred papers. Section 7.5.1. 39 Employees sent home early due to inclement weather or an emergency building closure will be 40 offered the opportunity to make up lost time as mutually agreed between the employee and 41 immediate supervisor prior to the last student day of school.
Section 7.5.1. 46 The supervisor of Maintenance and Custodial classification employees determines that 47 working four (4) days per week and ten (10) hours per day is a practical option for winter, 48 spring, or summer break when school is not in session.
Section 7.5.1. 11 All hours worked in excess of ten (10) hours per day or forty (40) hours per week shall be 12 compensated at the rate of one and one-half (1-1/2) times the employee’s base pay if the 13 employee is working a shift and workweek as defined in Section 7.1.1.
Section 7.5.1. 1. 9 In the event any trip is canceled after having been assigned, and the driver is not 10 notified of the cancellation prior to reporting for the run, such driver shall be 11 compensated two (2) hour show up time.
