Section Picket Lines It shall not be a violation of this Agreement and it shall not be cause for discharge, disciplinary action or permanent replacement in the event an employee refuses to go through or work behind any picket line which has not been declared to be unlawful by the Canada Labour Board or a court of proper jurisdiction, including picket lines at the place of business. However, if the employee elects not to cross the picket line at the employers place of business, all benefit contributions including health, welfare and pension shall cease. Vacations, holidays, etc. shall be paid while employees refuse to cross the picket line.

If the Employer representative is unable to meet the Xxxxxxx during the Xxxxxxx'x normal working hours, the Xxxxxxx shall be paid for all the time spent during the processing of the grievances with the Employer on the Employer's property or at any other place which is mutually agreed upon by both the Union and the Employer.
