Sick Leave Reduction Incentive. Effective July 1, 2017, a sick leave reduction incentive plan will provide to each dispatcher a payment of $150 for any quarter of the year (January 1 – March 31, April 1 – June 30, July 1, - September 30, October 1 – December 31) without use of any sick leave. Payments shall be made on the second pay day in the months of April, July, October and January for the preceding quarter. An employee who takes a leave of absence at any time during the quarter, or who is on workers compensation for more than four of his/her regularly schedule work shifts during the quarter, shall not be eligible for the above payment for that quarter.

Sick Leave Reduction Incentive. Employees who have accumulated 1440 hours of sick leave shall continue to accumulate sick leave at the normal accrual rate until the end of each year. On December 31st, all sick leave accumulated in excess of the maximum will be paid at fifty percent (50%) of the employee’s current rate of pay in effect as of November 30th in the year earned. This pay shall be paid no later than the employee’s first January paycheck.
Sick Leave Reduction Incentive. All employees shall be entitled to a Sick Leave Reduction Stipend under the following conditions:

  • Sick Leave Incentive Effective September 1, 1986, employees covered by this Agreement, hired on or after October 1, 1977, who are not entitled to disability leave under State Statute R.C.W. 41.26, shall be eligible for the following sick leave incentive program:

  • Sick Leave Payout No cash payment for unused sick leave will be paid to any employee leaving the service of the Employer.

  • Sick Leave Pay A Nurse granted sick leave shall be paid for the period of such leave at her or his regular hourly rate of pay and the number of hours thus paid shall be deducted from the accumulated sick leave credits of the Nurse.

  • Sick Leave Payment Any employee, at his/her option may choose to receive payment for sick leave earned during the year which is unused at the end of the year. Any such payment must be for the total number of unused sick leave hours earned during the year, must be based on the hourly rate of pay of the employee multiplied by 50 percent, and all hours for which payment is received must be deducted from the employee’s accumulated leave balance. Sick leave used during a current year will be charged against the most recently earned sick leave. Hourly rate of pay is the hourly rate at the end of the contract year.

  • Sick Leave Bonus For every six (6) months of perfect sick leave attendance after July 1, 1987, the employee will receive eight (8) hours of bonus time. This bonus time will be prorated for part-time employees. Such bonus time can be used for any leave purpose covered by this Agreement. Such bonus time shall be counted as vacation leave credits for purposes of determining eligibility for carry- over and cash payments.

  • Sick Leave Payoff Employee with accrued, unused sick leave may, at the time of separation, select one of the following options for reimbursement:

  • Sick Leave Pool a. The Sick Leave Pool is intended to provide security to supplement other insurance benefits by allowing employees to "buy" insurance for extended illness, or other disability. Pool Days may be used to "make an employee whole" if disability or Workers' Compensation benefits are less than normal base pay. When "buying" Pool Days, employees convert Earned Time days on a 1:3 basis. Similar to purchasing insurance, the employee may pick a given number of days to exchange for coverage in case of extended disability.

  • Sick Leave Incentive Program MSUAASF and Minnesota State may develop a sick leave incentive program through the establishment of a joint committee.

  • Sick Leave Reimbursement An employee who has received sick leave benefits for injuries caused by a third party shall be obliged, in the event such employee undertakes an action for recovery of damages against the third party, to seek recovery of the total cost of wages and benefits paid to the employee while on sick leave. The employee shall be obliged to reimburse the Employer to the extent the employee succeeded in recovering such wages and benefits. This provision includes claims made to ICBC.

  • Accrued 100% sick leave The use of sick leave under this subsection is at the employee's discretion.
