Staff Participation. 1. The BERKELEY FIRE DEPARTMENT will select preceptors for paramedic students during the field internship.
2. All preceptors will hold a current state certification as a paramedic and shall be approved by the Alameda County EMS District.
3. Preceptors will assist with the education and evaluation of paramedic students during the field internship.
4. Preceptors will remain employees of the BERKELEY FIRE DEPARTMENT and shall not be considered employees of the TRAINING CENTER.
Staff Participation. Except in emergency circumstances, there shall be a real and continuing involvement of the school staff members prior to the adoption of individual school site work rules and procedures.

35.01 The Employer agrees to provide OPSSU with three (3) OPSEU delegate credentials to the CLC, three (3) OPSEU delegate credentials to the OFL convention and one (1) OPSEU delegate credential to the NUPGE convention. The Employer will pay all normal expenses associated with attendance at the conventions equivalent to those paid to OPSEU members. OPSSU shall nominate members to the President of OPSEU.
35.02 The President of OPSEU will designate OPSEU staff to participate in various conferences, seminars, etc. as per the current OPSEU policy manual.
35.03 The President and 1st Vice-President of OPSSU shall be assigned to all OPSEU Conventions.
Staff Participation. 1. The Employer recognizes the value and necessity of staff participation and consistent with their job descriptions, the staff shall, collectively with the office’s leadership, implement the policies and programs of the ACLU of Maine.
2. Transparency and Communication with Board of Directors. Regular and open communication and information sharing will strengthen our ability to effectively carry out the ACLU of Maine’s mission. The Board of Directors appreciates hearing directly from staff about their work. The Executive Director may invite unit staff to present their work to the Board of Directors.
a. At one Board meeting per calendar year, the bargaining unit shall be invited to make a presentation related to the work of the organization. The unit will coordinate with the Executive Director on the topics for discussion. All members are invited to attend. At a minimum there must be one (1) representative from the program team and one (1) representative from the finance and operations team.
Staff Participation. The parties intend that staff participating in the Legacy Project and the various project groups will work on behalf of the best interests of the Legacy Project, representing not only the best interests of their employer but also of the Legacy Project itself. In that manner, staff will freely communicate and share information with other agency staff and generally support each other with respect to the Legacy Project. Notwithstanding the foregoing, finance and legal staff participating in the Legacy Project and in the various project groups represent solely their employers, as they owe a professional duty of loyalty and a fiduciary duty solely to their respective agencies.
Staff Participation. A. The Employer shall make a good faith effort to xxxxxx staff participation of all levels and in all departments of the organization.
B. Management and union recognize their mutual responsibility for and shall make regular efforts to inform their respective constituents on the contract and its contents.
Staff Participation. It is recognized that the total professional staff has an interest in all policies relative to the educational program and professional matters of the District To permit the participation of the total professional staff, each building shall establish a building council to cooperate with and advise the building principal in the establishment of building level policies. Membership in the building council shall consist o f building administrator^) and union appointed building representatives.
Staff Participation. The City shall cause appropriate members of the City’s staff to attend and participate in community meetings, CPUC proceedings and any other meetings or proceedings concerning the Application, as SBC may request from time to time.
Staff Participation. Agent has the authority to charge the Association an hourly fee as defined in Exhibit A to this Agreement in exchange for services rendered and which are not specifically contemplated under this Agreement. Such services include, but are not limited to, coordination of professional legal services, court preparation and appearance time on all cases for Small Claims, Justice or any Court, or special projects. Agent shall assist the Association’s legal counsel in preparing for trials, legal matters, mediations or hearings involving the Association, in exchange for the hourly fee as described in the applicable Addendum. In the event professional legal services coordination is deemed appropriate by legal counsel for the Association for any legal proceedings brought against an Owner, fees paid by the Association shall be the responsibility of and charged back to the individual Owner to the extent allowable by applicable law.
Staff Participation. Each Party shall make the necessary arrangements to facilitate that the entry, stay and exit be granted to the participants officially involved in cooperative activities arising from this Memorandum of Understanding. These participants are subject to the immigration, tax, customs, health and national security force in the receiving country and may not engage in any activity unrelated to their duties without the prior authorization of the competent authorities. Participants shall leave the receiving country in accordance with the laws and provisions. The personnel assigned by each of the participants to carry out cooperative activities under this Memorandum of Understanding will continue under the leadership of the institution to which they belong, so no employment relationship would be created by the Other, which it would not be considered a supportive employer or substitute.
