TEACHER’S CONTRACT. 1. The individual teacher contract (Appendix A of this Agreement) shall state the salary and, to the extent possible, work location, subject matter and grade level to be taught. TEACHER’S CONTRACT. The health and medical insurance coverage which is presently in effect will be on an optional basis for transportation department employees who retire from the Decatur School District. Retirees who opt to participate in the employee group health insurance plan will pay the entire annual premium plus the surcharge imposed by the insurance carrier. Coverage will end when the retiree reaches the age of 65. Health insurance for the family of the retiree will be an optional basis for those on family insurance at the time of the retirement. Retirees who opt for this coverage will pay the entire premium. Coverage will end when the retiree or dependent reaches 65, whichever come first.

TEACHER’S CONTRACT. Section 9:01 - No Discipline Except with Just Cause No employee will be arbitrarily disciplined or disciplined on account of whim or caprice. As used herein, the term "discipline" includes notices of verbal warning or verbal reprimand reduced to writing, written warnings and written reprimands, suspensions and discharges or dismissals. In the event a non-tenured employee is dismissed, discharged, removed or suffers nonrenewal of his contract, the just cause and due process provisions of this Article shall be governed and satisfied by observance of the provisions outlined in Section 9:02, followed by application of the provisions of applicable state law.
