UFCW Training and Education Fund. The Company agrees to pay the following amounts to the UFCW Local 175 Training and Education Fund. Effective date of ratification $1500.00, effective December 1, 2008, $1500.00 and effective December 1, 2009, $1500.00.

UFCW Training and Education Fund. Within sixty (60) days of the ratification of this Agreement and not subject to retroactivity the Employer agrees to contribute ten ($0.10) cents per hour to the UFCW Training and Education Fund for all regular full-time bargaining unit employees for every regular full hour worked up to a maximum of forty (40) hours per week. Effective on the start of the first pay period following the fourth (4th) anniversary of the ratification of this Agreement (February 9th, 2026). The Employer agrees to increase its contribution to fifteen ($0.15) cents per hour. The purpose of this fund is to provide additional training and educational opportunities to employees. The Employer shall be allowed to provide input to the Union on how to utilize the fund to be more beneficial to employees. The Union agrees to over the life of this Agreement to promote opportunities created through the establishment of this fund. These opportunities must be posted at all times in the plant and verbally communicated in the plant by the Union.

  • Training and Support Licensor shall offer installation support to the Licensee and each of the Members, including assisting with the implementation of any Licensor software. Licensor will provide appropriate training to Licensee and Member staff relating to the use of the Licensed Materials and any Licensor software. Licensor will offer reasonable levels of continuing support to assist Licensee and Members in use of the Licensed Materials, including providing help files and other appropriate user documentation in connection with the use of and access to Licensed Materials. Licensor will, at a minimum, make its personnel available by email, telephone or via the Web, or in person during Licensor’s regular business hours, Monday through Friday, for training and user access support.

  • Continuing Education The Hospital and the Union recognize that continuing education is important for all employees and that they have shared interests and responsibilities in ensuring equitable access to it.

  • Education, Training and Experience Grade 12 and two years' recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

  • Union Education If the local union indicates to the Hospital that its members have approved a special assessment for union education in accordance with the CUPE constitution and local union by laws, the Hospital agrees to deduct this assessment. Such assessment will be paid on a quarterly basis into a trust fund established and administered by OCHU/CUPE for this purpose.

  • Resident Educator A Resident Educator is a teacher employed under a resident educator license.

  • In-Service Education The parties recognize the value of in-service both to the employee and the Employer and shall encourage employees to participate in in-service. All employees scheduled by the Employer to attend in-service seminars shall receive regular wages.
