UNIFORM AND CLOTHING ALLOWANCES. 20.01 The Employer shall supply or make available such articles (including, in particular, rubbers to cover work boots) as it deems necessary to be worn on the job for reasons of appearance, safety, health or as protection against undue wear or damage. The Employer may, at its discretion replace employee’s clothing damaged under unusual job conditions. The Employer shall designate the safety boots, shoes and overshoes for which it will pay and which will be provided to employees. The Employer will pay 100% of the cost of one (1) pair of safety shoes or safety boots and one (1) pair of overshoes that are to be supplied to each employee annually in accordance with the amounts payable identified in Company Policy 2.08. Amounts payable shall not decrease.
UNIFORM AND CLOTHING ALLOWANCESThe Employer shall issue protective clothing to employees when their work requires them to be exposed to hazardous, unsanitary, or difficult to remove soiling materials. It shall be the responsibility of the Employer to clean, launder, and maintain all clothing issued under this section when in the opinion of the Employer, cleaning is necessary. Such opinion will not be exercised in an arbitrary or discriminatory manner. The City will provide a fifty ($50) dollar / year boot allowance for all employees who are required by WorkSafeBC to wear safety boots.

UNIFORM AND CLOTHING ALLOWANCES. Each regular full-time employee in the following positions shall receive an allowance of $200 per fiscal year for the purchase of safety boots, protective clothing, and laundering of uniform shirts: • Facilities Maintenance Worker I/II/III, Lead • Facilities Maintenance ManagerBuilding InspectorsCode Compliance Officer Three shirts per employee per year are purchased directly by the City in the colors designated by the City. This $200 allowance shall be paid on the second pay date in July. The allowance shall be prorated from the date of hire for a newly hired employee. The allowance is reported to PERS as salary earned for Classic employees (not reported as special pay for PEPRA employees).
UNIFORM AND CLOTHING ALLOWANCES. 24.01 The Employer will provide a suit of wet weather clothing, hipwaders, and rubber gloves for employees engaged in sewer and water operations. The Employer shall be responsible for cleaning and disinfecting all such clothing and hipwaders. 24.02 Safety goggles, face masks, fluorescent vests, safety helmets and respirators will be provided by the Employer when required to be used. 24.03 All clothing and safety equipment shall be furnished on a loan basis and the employee will be required to return them in good and serviceable condition, fair wear and tear excepted. 24.04 The Employer shall supply each regular full-time employee with two (2) pairs of coveralls per year. New coveralls will be issued upon receipt of old coveralls. 24.05 The Employer shall supply four (4) pairs of work gloves per year to each regular full-time employee. 24.06 The Employer shall provide each regular full-time employee with an annual one hundred dollar ($100) workboot allowance, which may be cumulative for two years, provided the Employer receives a receipt of purchase of new boots. Effective January 1, 2004 this allowance shall be increased to one hundred and fifty dollars ($150) per annum, cumulative for two (2) years.

Three shirts per employee per year are purchased directly by the CITY, in colors designated by the department head. The Uniform and Clothing Allowances shall be paid on the second pay date in July. The Uniform and Clothing Allowances shall be prorated from the date of hire for a newly hired employee. Uniform and clothing allowances are reported to PERS as salary earned.

  • Uniforms and Protective Clothing 33.1 Where the employer requires an employee to wear a uniform, it shall be provided free of charge, but shall remain the property of the employer. 33.2 Suitable protective clothing shall be provided at the employer's expense where the duty involves a risk of excessive soiling or damage to uniforms or personal clothing or a risk of injury to the employee.

  • Living Away From Home Allowance When Employees are to be engaged on a Project requiring them to live away from home, the provisions of Appendix I will apply in determining their entitlement and the conditions whilst they are living away from home.

  • Other Fringe Benefits During the Employment Period, Executive shall be entitled to receive such of the Company’s other fringe benefits as are being provided to other Executives of the Company on the Senior Executive Team.

  • Other Compensation and Fringe Benefits In addition to any executive bonus, pension, deferred compensation and stock option plans which the Company may from time to time make available to the employee upon mutual agreement, the Employee shall be entitled to the following: (a) The standard Company benefits enjoyed by the Company's other top executives. (b) Payment by the Company of the Employee's initiation and membership dues in all social and/or recreational clubs as deemed necessary and appropriate by the Employee to maintain various business relationships on behalf of the Company; provided, however, that the Company shall not be obligated to pay for any of the Employee's personal purchases and expenses at such club. (c) Provision by the Company during the Term and any extensions thereof to the Employee and his dependents of medical and other insurance coverage under the Company's Executive Medical Plan. (d) Provision by the Company of supplemental disability insurance sufficient to provide two-thirds of the Employee's pre-disability minimum base annual salary. (e) An annual incentive bonus for each calendar year included in this Agreement calculated pursuant to a formula substantially similar to (and the formula of which will not yield a bonus less than) the FY 2001 Incentive Plan adopted by the Compensation Committee of the Company with a target bonus based upon 100% of base annual salary, a copy of which is attached hereto as Exhibit A ("Incentive Bonus"); provided, however, that the Employer's stockholders approve an annual incentive bonus plan containing substantially the terms of the Incentive Bonus prior to its payment in accordance with Section 162(m) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended, and the regulations promulgated thereunder. The annual bonus shall be paid no later than March 15th of the following year and is fully vested at the end of each year in the event of a non-renewal of this Agreement by the Company. Subject to Section 7 below, the annual bonus shall be pro-rated for any partial employment year. The Company shall deduct from all compensation payable under this Agreement to the Employee any taxes or withholdings the Company is required to deduct pursuant to state and federal laws or by mutual agreement between the parties

  • Standard Company Benefits Executive shall be entitled to participate in all employee benefit programs for which Executive is eligible under the terms and conditions of the benefit plans that may be in effect from time to time and provided by the Company to its employees. The Company reserves the right to cancel or change the benefit plans or programs it offers to its employees at any time.
