At all times while on duty, managers, supervisors, dispatchers, crossing guards, and all other personnel in direct contact with the public (regardless of how minimal the contact), shall wear uniforms provided by the Contractor and approved by the Authority, with name tags affixed and visible on their outermost garment that clearly displays the company name, and the employee’s name and title. 2. Uniforms may be purchased or rented by the Contractor, subject to the Authority’s approval and the Contractor’s Operating Budget. Procurement, maintenance, and cleaning of employee uniforms shall be the responsibility of the Contractor and the actual costs thereof shall be subject to reimbursement in accordance with the approved Operating Budget. 3. The Contractor shall require all personnel to maintain a neat and clean appearance and be appropriately dressed at all times while on duty. 4. Uniforms shall be bright in color so that personnel are highly visible and easily distinguished from the traveling public. The word “TAXI” shall be printed on the back of every shirt, vest, sweater, jacket, and coat in a reflective material to further increase visibility of the Contractor’s personnel. 5. Uniform specifications may be amended from time to time by the Contractor with the Authority’s approval. At any time during the Contract Term, the Authority reserves the right to require the Contractor to modify the uniform specifications.

Any uniform clothing (excluding slacks and jeans) deemed necessary by the Company for its employees shall be furnished by the Company. Section 3. Section 6. Employees working in the Meat Department will be furnished a white butcher coat or white wrap- around as appropriate. Aprons and hats will be furnished by the Company to employees working in the meat, bakery and deli departments. An employee may opt to wear a hair net in lieu of a hat. Section 7. Name badges are also furnished and are to be visible at all times; preferably worn on the upper left front of the shirt, jacket, xxxxx or apron. Employees are expected to wear safe, comfortable, closed toe and heel shoes at their own expense. Safety shoes are preferred in all areas and are a requirement in specific departments in accordance with Section 21.02 of this Agreement. Black or xxxxx shoes are preferred however, tennis shoes are allowed if in good condition. Section 8. Employees are responsible for any and all reasonable care of the uniforms. Section 9. Employees separated at any time after receiving the uniform furnished by the Company will be required to return said uniform, excluding shirts (not a uniform) and hats, to the Company in good condition, prior to receiving their last check. Section 10. At its discretion, on a store by store basis, the Company may allow employees to dress in a more casual fashion than is normally required.. On such occasions, employees are still expected to present a neat, professional appearance.
