Unpaid Xxxxx’s leave a) An employee is entitled to unpaid carer’s leave to provide care and support for members of the employee’s immediate family or a member of the employee’s household who need the employee’s care and support when they are ill or injured, or in the case of an unexpected emergency affecting the employee.
b) The maximum entitlement of unpaid carer’s leave is 10 days per annum.
c) The employer may require an employee to establish by the production of a medical certificate, the illness or injury of the member of the employee’s immediate family or a member of the employee’s household, and that the illness or injury is such as to require care by the employee.
d) The employer may require an employee to establish by the production of a statutory declaration, the details of the unexpected emergency entailing a member of the employee’s immediate family or a member of the employee’s household and that the emergency is such as to require the care and support by the employee.
Unpaid Xxxxx’s leave. In addition to paid Personal/Xxxxx’s Leave, an casual employee and an employee who has exhausted his/her paid Personal/Xxxxx’s Leave entitlements is entitled to up to two days of unpaid Xxxxx’s Leave for each occasion when a member of the employee’s immediate family or household requires his/her care or support because of personal illness or injury or an unexpected emergency. The unpaid leave can be taken in a single unbroken period of up to two days, or if the employee or supervisor agree, in separate periods.
Unpaid Xxxxx’s leave a) An employee is entitled to unpaid carer’s leave to provide care and support for members of the employee’s immediate family or a member of the employee’s household who need the employee’s care and support when they are ill or injured, or in the case of an unexpected emergency affecting the employee.
b) The maximum entitlement of unpaid carer’s leave is based on 1/26th of the employee’s ordinary hours of work.
c) The employer may require an employee to establish by the production of a medical certificate, the illness or injury of the member of the employee’s immediate family or a member of the employee’s household, and that the illness or injury is such as to require care by the employee.
d) The employer may require an employee to establish by the production of a statutory declaration, the details of the unexpected emergency entailing a member of the employee’s immediate family or a member of the employee’s household and that the emergency is such as to require the care and support by the employee.
Unpaid Xxxxx’s leave. In circumstances where an employee has exhausted their personal leave entitlements, an employee may be entitled to a further 2 days unpaid carer’s leave on each occasion to provide care and support to the employee’s immediate family or household member.
Unpaid Xxxxx’s leave an employee is entitled to a period of 2 days unpaid Carer’s Leave for each occasion to provide care or support to a member of the employee’s immediate family or the employee’s household who requires care or support due to a personal illness or injury or an unexpected emergency. An employee can only access unpaid carer’s leave where no other paid personal/carer’s leave is available. The granting of unpaid carer’s leave is subject to the following conditions and limitations:
(a) An employee will inform his/her immediate Supervisor as soon as reasonably practicable of an inability to attend for work for a specified period due to the need to provide care or support to a member of the employee’s immediate family or member of the employee’s household who requires care or support due to illness, injury or unexpected emergency.
(b) Each employee unable to attend for work for:
(i) more than two single day absences in any one entitlement year;
(ii) for two or more consecutive days; or
(iii) for any absence on the day before or after a Public Holiday, shall provide a Medical Certificate from a registered health practitioner.
(c) A personal/xxxxx’s leave form must be completed, signed and handed in by the employee immediately after they return from taking the unpaid carer’s leave.
Unpaid Xxxxx’s leave. 4.1 An employee is entitled to up to 2 days of unpaid carer’s leave for each occasion when a member of the employee’s immediate family, as defined in clause 1.8.4 or household requires care or support because of a personal illness or injury, or in the event of an unexpected emergency affecting the family or household member.

38.13.1 An employee is entitled to unpaid carer’s leave for a particular UCL permissible occasion during a particular period only if the employee cannot take an amount of any of the following types of paid leave during the period:
(a) paid personal/xxxxx's leave;
(b) any other authorised leave of the same type as personal/xxxxx's leave.
Unpaid Xxxxx’s leave for Casual Employees under the National Employment Standards (NES)
Unpaid Xxxxx’s leave. An employee (including a causal employee) may take up to two (2) days unpaid carer’s leave for each occasion a member of an employee’s immediate family or household requires care or support because of a personal illness or injury, or an unexpected emergency affecting the member if an employee has exhausted an employee’s paid personal leave entitlement.
