Vacation Eligibility Date. An employee's eligibility for vacation with pay during any annual period commencing July 1 and ending June 30 will be determined according to such employee's length of service with the Employer as of July 1. For purposes of vacation eligibility under Section 6.2 (but not under Section 6.4) an employee hired between July 1 and December 31 will be considered to have completed one (1) full years of service on the July 1 following his/her employment date. An employee hired on or before the 15th of the month will receive credit of one (1) full month for purposes of computing sick leave and vacation time. Employees hired after the 15th of the month will not receive credit until completion of the following full month.

Leaves of absence of sixty-one (61) days or more will be deducted in their entirety from the eligibility date. Vacation pay shall be at the base hourly wage rate the employee is receiving on the date time off is taken. 1133 Vacation shall not be considered as time worked for the purposes of calculating overtime.
