Working on a Designated Holiday. If a staff member is required by their Xxxx, Director, or designate to work on any of the designated holidays referred to in 11.01, the member will, in addition to being paid for the day, be provided with CTO equal to one and one-half (1.5) multiplied by the hours worked. CTO, which accrues in this circumstance, will be taken at a time mutually agreed between the staff member and the supervisor, and in any event within six (6) months after the date of the holiday.
Working on a Designated Holiday a) The parties acknowledge that the University provides two general holidays each year in addition to those provided for under the laws of British Columbia. In recognition of this fact, the parties agree that when a staff member is required by her/his supervisor and has the approval of the relevant xxxx, director, or equivalent to work on a holiday recognised under either the laws of British Columbia or the terms of this agreement, the staff member will, in addition to being paid for the day, be provided with CTO equal to the hours worked to be taken off at a time mutually agreed between the staff member and the supervisor, and in any event within six (6) months after the date of the holiday.
Working on a Designated Holiday. An employee who is required to work a full day on a designated holiday shall be entitled to pay of 2½ (two and one-half) times regular hourly salary, plus 1 (one) day off without pay within the pay period where possible.
Working on a Designated Holiday. Full-time employees in a unit will be offered any available work, in their own classification level/occupation, on designated holidays, which fall on regular workdays. If there are no full-time employees in the work unit and classification level/occupation, who wish to accept the available work, the work shall be assigned by management in accordance with Article 15.
Working on a Designated Holiday. 15.3.1 An employee required to work on a holiday shall be paid at the rate of time and one-half plus another day off with pay to be taken within a four week period following the holiday or paid out to the employee.
15.3.2 An employee required to work overtime on a holiday shall be paid at the rate of double time for any time in excess of normal hours.

b) If, during a given calendar year, a staff member is required by her/his supervisor and has the approval of the relevant xxxx, director, or equivalent to work on more than one holiday recognised under either the laws of British Columbia or the terms of this agreement during the calendar year, the member will, in addition to being paid for the day, be provided with CTO equal to one and one-half (1.5) multiplied by the hours worked. CTO which accrues in this circumstance will be taken at a time mutually agreed between the staff member and the supervisor, and in any event within six (6) months after the date of the holiday.

An employee required to work on a designated holiday shall be entitled to their regular pay plus 11/2 times their regular pay for each hour up to normal hours they work. This shall be paid out or may be taken as time in lieu by mutual agreement. An employee who is required to work overtime on a designated holiday shall be paid at the rate of three times her regular pay for each hour in excess of normal hours which she works. When a holiday falls on an employee's assigned day of rest, and she is required to work on such holiday, she shall be paid, in addition to her regular pay, at the rate of two times for all hours worked and shall also be granted a day off in lieu of the assigned day of rest. The day off shall be mutually arranged between the employee and her employer, but must be granted within the three month period following the originally assigned day.

An Employee who is required to work a full day on a designated holiday shall be entitled to leave of absence with pay of one and one- half (1 1/2) days in lieu of the said holiday, provided that if such leave of absence with pay cannot be granted within three (3) months she shall be paid, in addition to her regular pay, at the rate of one and one- half (1 1/2) times her regular pay for the holiday worked. By mutual agreement the three (3) month period for granting leave with pay may be extended. An Employee who is required to work a part of a designated holiday shall be paid at the rate of one and one-half (1 1/2) times her regular pay for each hour up to the normal hours which she works. An Employee who is required to work overtime on a designated holiday shall be paid at the rate of two and one-half (2 1/2) times her regular pay for each hour in excess of normal hours which she works.
