Working While on Leave. Bargaining unit employees are prohibited from engaging in activities that are inconsistent with the claimed inability to work or the claimed need to care for a seriously ill member of the immediate family during use of their sick benefit or disability leave, including leave for the serious health condition of the bargaining unit employee or a member of the bargaining unit employee’s immediate family under the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), without advanced approval of the University. Such approval shall not be unreasonably denied.
Working While on Leave. With the exception of employment with the Union under Union Leave, employees on an approved leave of absence shall not engage in other gainful replacement employment.
Working While on Leave. A leave of absence shall not be granted any employee who leaves their job for the sole purpose of obtaining or engaging in other full time employment.
Working While on Leave. An employee who accepts gainful employment, including working for him/herself, while on leave of absence terminates his or her employment with the DISTRICT unless such employment is approved in writing by both the DISTRICT and UNION prior to such employment.
Working While on Leave. Any employee who, while on a leave of absence from Oak Park Schools, engages in education work for remuneration that is not specifically approved by the Superintendent as a condition of leave shall forfeit his/her eligibility to return to Oak Park Schools.
Working While on Leave. An employee, who accepts gainful employment while on leave of absence, terminates their employment as of such acceptance, unless such employment is approved by the District.
Working While on Leave. An employee who accepts gainful employment, including working for themselves, while on leave of absence terminates their employment with SacRT unless such employment is approved in writing by both SacRT and UNION prior to such employment.
Working While on Leave. Any employee who accepts gainful occupation while on leave except as herein specified terminates their employment with SunLine, unless such employment is approved by both SunLine and the Union prior to such employment.
Working While on Leave. Working in any capacity for another Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Enterprise, department or any other employer is prohibited unless approval is received from the Vice President of Human Resources or his/her designee. Requests to work for another employer must be in writing and processed through Employee Relations prior to commencing employment. Approval shall not be unreasonably withheld.
Working While on Leave. While on an approved medical leave of absence, employees cannot work another job. Violators of this provision will be considered a voluntary quit.
