EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS ACT LEAVES. The Employer shall grant unpaid leaves as requested by the employee in accordance with the Employment Standards Act. Examples of such leaves are; Family Caregiver Leave, Critically Ill Child Care Leave and Crime-related Child Death or Disappearance Leave as requested by the Teaching Faculty Member.
EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS ACT LEAVES. The Employer will comply with the requirements of the Employment Standards Act with respect to the unpaid leaves of absences.

Unless the Collective Agreement provides a greater right or benefit to the Employee, leaves of Absence referenced in the Employment Standards Act, S.O. 2000, and listed below, are available to employees in accordance with and subject to the provisions of the Act.
