00 - UNION SECURITY. 10:01 It is agreed and understood by the Parties hereto that there shall be a compulsory check-off upon all Employees who come within the Unit to which this Agreement applies, and it shall continue during the period of this Contract. 10:02 The Employer agrees to deduct Union Dues from the earnings of each Employee in the amount certified by the Treasurer of the Union. Where Union dues are to be changed, as certified by the Treasurer of the Union, the Employer shall implement such change to be effective the second payroll period immediately following written notification. 10:03 The Employer agrees to deduct the amount of dues from each payroll period of each month and remit the amount of dues so deducted to the Treasurer of the Union no later than seven (7) calendar days after which the dues are deducted. 10:04 The Treasurer of the Employer when remitting the dues deducted to the designated Officer of the Union, shall include a statement clearly setting forth the names of the Employees from whom the dues were deducted, also showing any additions or deletions in staff. This statement will also indicate the status of the Employees by showing whether an Employee is Permanent, Part Time, Probationary, Temporary or Student. 10:05 No Contract, written or oral, shall be entered into between the Employer or any of its designated representatives, and Employees covered by this Agreement on matters relative to hours of work, wages, and working conditions, promotions, demotions, or any other conditions affecting the welfare of the Employees in general. 10:06 In April and October of each year, the Employer will forward electronically to the Section Chair and Secretary of the Local Union a list of all Employees including first and last name, current classification, employment status, home mailing address, and home phone number. In each year, the Union will receive an additional list of Employees upon written request. 10:07 The Employer will provide each new Employee with a copy of the Collective Bargaining Agreement and a Union orientation document to be provided by the Union. Such information will be provided within three (3) weeks of each new

00 - UNION SECURITY. 25.01 The Corporation agrees, during the term of this Agreement to deduct from the pay of all employees in the bargaining unit, an amount equal to the regular monthly dues, as certified by the Union, and to remit the same prior to the end of such month to the Secretary-Treasurer of the Union, along with a list of names of employees from whose wages deductions have been made, the amounts so deducted and a total of all regular wages paid to bargaining unit employees exclusive of fringe benefits. (1986) 25.02 In consideration of the deduction and forwarding service by the Corporation, the Union agrees to indemnify and save the Corporation harmless against any claim or liability arising out of or resulting from the collection or forwarding of these dues.
00 - UNION SECURITY. 5.01 Membership Effective - The employer agrees that the employees covered by Appendix "A" of this Agreement, as a condition of employment, shall be or become, a member in good standing of the union.
00 - UNION SECURITY. 3-1.01 Any employee who is a member of the Union on the date the collective agreement comes into force and anyone who becomes a member at a later date, must continue his/her membership in the Union for the duration of the collective agreement, in order to maintain his/her employment. 3-1.02 Any new employee hired after the date the collective agreement comes into force must, as of the date he/she is hired, become and remain a member of the Union for the duration of the collective agreement, as a condition of employment. 00 - UNION SECURITY. 11.01 The Employer agrees that all eligible Employees shall maintain union membership as a condition of employment. New eligible Employees who are retained beyond thirty (30) days employment shall become members of the Union. 11.02 Employees, if working more than two (2) hours in any calendar month, shall be required to pay one month’s dues. 11.03 The Employer, when requested by the Employee, agrees to deduct the amount authorized as Union Dues and Initiations once each month and to submit monies collected to the Treasurer of the Union by the fifteenth of the following month, together with a list of the Employees from whom such deductions were made. 11.04 Upon written notice from the Union that an eligible Employee fails to maintain membership in the Union by refusing to pay dues or assessments, the Employer agrees to terminate employment of said Employee seven (7) days from date of notice.

00 - UNION SECURITY. 2.01 (a) (i) The Employer shall during the term of this agreement as a condition of employment deduct from members of the bargaining unit, the regular weekly union dues and such union dues shall be remitted to the Union, in the format outlined in Article 2.01 (b) below, prior to the fifteenth (15th) of the month following the month in which such deduction is made.

00 - UNION SECURITY. 3.01 All employees of the Company shall be required, as a condition of continued employment, to become and remain members of the Union. 3.02 Subject to the conditions hereinafter set forth, during the term of this Agreement, the Company agrees to deduct from the pay of all seniority employees covered by this Agreement, initiation fees (once) and Union dues for each particular calendar month, or if the employee does not have sufficient pay accrued at the time such deduction is to be so made, then the Union dues shall be deducted from the next pay period in that same calendar month in which the employee does have sufficient pay accrued for that purpose.
