ADMINISTRATIVE CALENDAR. A. All administrators covered under this Agreement shall be scheduled to work a maximum of two hundred nine (209) days. It is agreed that administrative work schedule include those vacation periods specified in the Teacher's Master Agreement. Exceptions to this work schedule may be made by the Superintendent of Schools. In those instances where exceptions are made, they will be noted in writing to the affected administrator prior to the date of the proposed exception. B. Salaries of Administrators who are required to work additional weeks shall be prorated for the actual time worked as approved by the Board of Education. Conversely, the administrative salaries for fewer weeks worked than specified shall also be prorated. C. Administrators will receive seven (7) flex days annually. These days may be scheduled with prior approval from the Superintendent. Two (2) of the awarded seven (7) flex days per year may be used while teachers are in session. The remaining five (5) flex days may not be used when students or staff are in session.

ADMINISTRATIVE CALENDAR. A. The High School Principal shall have 220 paid days in his/her yearly calendar consisting of: The same work days as teachers (185) 10 days previous to the day teachers report 10 days at the end of the school year 4 additional days as agreed upon by the administrator and assigned by the Superintendent of Schools 10 paid holidays B. The Intermediate School Principal, High School Assistant Principal, and Elementary Principals shall have 215 paid days in their yearly calendar consisting of: the same work days as teachers (185) 10 days previous to the day teachers report 5 days at the end of the school year 4 additional days as agreed upon by the administrator and assigned by the Superintendent of Schools 10 paid holidays C. The Intermediate School Assistant Principal shall have 205 paid days in their yearly calendar consisting of: the same work days as teachers (185) 5 days previous to the day teachers report 4 additional days as agreed upon by the administrator and assigned by the Superintendent of Schools 10 paid holidays D. The Athletic Director shall have 202 paid days in their yearly calendar consisting of: the same work days as teachers (185) 3 days previous to the day teachers report 3 additional days as agreed upon by the administrator and assigned by the Superintendent of Schools 10 paid holidays The index and annuity shown in Appendix A is in recognition of extra days worked beyond the normal work year to perform the duties required of the position of Athletic Director. E. Any workdays missed due to snow, inclement weather or other Acts of God, shall be made up by all Administrators when the days are rescheduled for students and/or teachers. If a day scheduled to make up a “snow day” is not a regularly-scheduled work day for an Administrator, he/she shall make up said day without additional compensation. F. For the purposes of this Article, the following days are considered paid holidays: (1) Labor Day, (2) Thanksgiving Day, (3) the Friday after Thanksgiving, (4) Christmas Eve,
ADMINISTRATIVE CALENDAR. The Board and the JTAA agree that the administrative calendar shall be as follows: Administrators will be on duty, with the exception of previously arranged and approved vacation schedules, in the summer months. Summer months are defined as all days occurring between the last teacher workday of one school year and the first teacher workday of the subsequent school year. During the school year, from the first teacher workday until the last teacher workday, administrators will follow the teachers’ calendar. As stated in item 5, the ten (10) month supervisor, if any, is not contracted during the aforementioned summer months.

  • Administrative Appeals An administrative appeal is a request for us to reconsider a full or partial denial of payment for covered healthcare services for the following reasons: • the services were excluded from coverage; • we determined that you were not eligible for coverage; • you or your provider did not follow BCBSRI’s requirements; or • a limitation on an otherwise covered benefit exists. You are not required to file a complaint (as described above), before filing an administrative appeal. If you call our Customer Service Department, a Customer Service Representative will try to resolve your concern. If the issue is not resolved to your satisfaction, you may file a verbal or written administrative appeal with our Grievance and Appeals Unit. If you request an administrative appeal, you must do so within one hundred eighty (180) days of receiving a denial of payment for covered healthcare services. The Grievance and Appeals Unit will conduct a thorough review of your administrative appeal and respond within: • thirty (30) calendar days for a prospective review; and • sixty (60) calendar days for a retrospective review. The letter will provide you with information regarding our determination.

  • Administrative Fees The Borrower agrees to pay to the Administrative Agent an annual fee as agreed to between the Borrower and the Administrative Agent.

  • Sick Leave Credit-Based Retirement Gratuities 1) A Teacher is not eligible to receive a sick leave credit gratuity after August 31, 2012, except a sick leave credit gratuity that the Teacher had accumulated and was eligible to receive as of that day. 2) If the Teacher is eligible to receive a sick leave credit gratuity, upon the Teacher’s retirement, the gratuity shall be paid out at the lesser of, a) the rate of pay specified by the board’s system of sick leave credit gratuities that applied to the Teacher on August 31, 2012; and b) the Teacher’s salary as of August 31, 2012. 3) If a sick leave credit gratuity is payable upon the death of a Teacher, the gratuity shall be paid out in accordance with subsection (2). 4) For greater clarity, all eligibility requirements must have been met as of August 31, 2012 to be eligible for the aforementioned payment upon retirement, and the Employer and Union agree that any and all wind-up payments to which Teachers without the necessary years of service were entitled to under Ontario Regulation 01/13: Sick Leave Credits and Sick Leave Credit Gratuities, have been paid. 5) For the purposes of the following boards, despite anything in the board’s system of sick leave credit gratuities, it is a condition of eligibility to receive a sick leave credit gratuity that the Teacher have ten (10) years of service with the board: i. Near North District School Board ii. Avon Maitland District School Board iii. Xxxxxxxx-Xxxxxxxxx District School Board

  • Sick Leave Credits (a) Prior to the commencement of maternity leave, illness arising due to pregnancy may be covered by normal sick leave. (b) Sick leave may be used by any pregnant employee, authorized by the receipt of a qualified medical practitioner's statement to the Employer, where there is a confirmed case of German measles or any other disease or condition in the place of employment which could be harmful to pregnancy as determined by the qualified medical practitioner's statement or report. They may use this leave until all danger from such disease or condition no longer exists.
