Appeal Committee. 14.12.2.1 Membership: The appeal committee shall consist of:
14.12.2.1.1 an Employee, preferably from the same discipline or Academic Unit, such peer to be nominated by the Employee involved in any such dispute;
14.12.2.1.2 a nominee named by the Association; 14.12.2.1.3 two (2) nominees named by the Board; 14.
Appeal Committee i. An Appeal Committee will be established by the Employer.
ii. The Committee will consider appeals where a case can be made that there has been a significant failure of process which has affected the outcome or where the decision is clearly at odds with the evidence.
Appeal Committee. 7.9.1 The Appeal Committee shall consist of three (3) persons; one to be appointed by the President; one to be appointed by the Staff Member; and a third to be appointed jointly by the other two members of the Appeal Committee. In the event that agreement cannot be reached upon the third member, the third member shall be appointed by a Judge of the Court of Queen’s Bench of Alberta upon application of either party with notice to the other.
7.9.2 If the President refuses or neglects to appoint a member to the Appeal Committee within ten (10) working days of the Staff Member having appointed and served written notice upon the President requesting the President to so appoint, then the Staff Member may, with notice to the President, apply to the Director of Mediation Services to appoint a member to the Appeal Committee to act on behalf of the President, and the person so appointed by the Court or a Judge thereof may proceed and act in all respects as if having been appointed by the President. If the Staff Member refuses or neglects to appoint a member to the Appeal Committee within ten (10) working days of the date of the Staff Member’s notice of appeal, under Section 7.7, the appeal will be considered abandoned.
Appeal Committee. (a) To deal with appeals as provided in Articles 23.02 and 23.04 there shall be an Appeal Committee, whose term of office shall be September 1 through August 31 annually, consisting of: The Chair, a Xxxx appointed by the Vice-President (Academic). One (1) member, other than the President of the Association or the Association Grievance Committee Chair, appointed by the Association, who is not precluded from membership on this Committee by
Appeal Committee. The Appeal Committee shall consist of one or more members appointed by the Company and shall have the sole responsibility to review and make determinations regarding benefit claims and to make such other determinations delegated to the Appeal Committee under the Plan.
Appeal Committee. The DIO shall appoint the Committee to hear the appeal. The Committee shall consist of four members of the full-time clinical faculty and one resident, all with equal voting status. The Committee shall not include anyone who participated in the action resulting in the adverse action nor anyone who might have a conflict of interest. Because Nebraska Medicine currently only has one graduate medical education program, the Committee may involve people from graduate medical education programs of the University of Nebraska Medical Center. The DIO shall select one of the full-time clinical faculty members appointed to the Committee as Chairperson. The Chairperson shall vote as a member of the Committee.
Appeal Committee. The District IPD/PDI Appeal Committee shall be comprised of six (6) voting members, one from each College appointed by the Federation, and one from each College appointed by the District in the event of an appeal. The Federation President, or designee, and the Vice Chancellor for Human Resources, or designee, shall serve as non-voting members.
Appeal Committee. 6.1 The Appeal Committee will comprise of the following:
(a) SMF President
(b) 1 Official from SportSG (c) SMF National Coach
Appeal Committee. (1) There shall be an Appeal Committee consisting of all the members of the Council who are not members of the Investigation and Disciplinary Committees and such other persons as may be elected to that Committee by the General Meeting.
(2) The Appeal Committee shall hear and determine all appeals made to it, and its decision shall be final and binding on all the parties to the appeal.
Appeal Committee. The County shall maintain an Appeal Committee composed of Milwaukee County’s Director of BHD, Manager of Benefits and HR Metrics, and Director of the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS).
