Applying for Vacancies. (a) Casuals shall have the right to apply for certain permanent part-time positions in accordance with the provisions of Article 22, Assignments & Job Postings. They shall, however, only be eligible to apply for vacancies within their geographic areas if there is no permanent part-time employee promoted in accordance with Article 22.5 (a).
(b) The Employer agrees to give consideration to the qualifications and ability of casuals for permanent full-time vacancies at the entry level, provided that no permanent part-time employees have applied. Where qualifications and ability are relatively equal, seniority shall be the determining factor.
Applying for Vacancies. Employees interested in the vacancies shall apply in writing within the seven (7) day posting period. Interviews shall be granted within ten (10) workdays to applicants on a seniority basis. Interviews shall cease upon selection of a candidate for the posted position.
Applying for Vacancies. Employees are entitled to bid or apply and be considered for promotions awarded, during periods of time loss or “light duty. Employees awarded promotions while on time loss shall be compensated at the rate for their new position effective the date of the promotion. OJI compensation will be based on the rate for the employee’s original position.
Applying for Vacancies. 15 Any unit member who meets the minimum qualifications as defined in Rim of the World 16 Unified School District Official Job Description may apply for any vacancy for which they are 17 qualified by submitting a completed supplemental classified employment application. This 18 application must be submitted prior to the end of the published posting period.

Upon receiving notification, either verbally or in writing, any certified employee wishing to be considered for the posted vacancy will submit a written letter or email to the Superintendent asking them to be considered for the posted vacancy. The certified employee will be notified of the receipt of their letter of application. Such notice will be received by the bargaining unit member within ten (10) working days after the receipt of the letter of application.

Applying for Vacancies. A. Employees may use agency computer resources for applying for positions on non-duty time and consistent with Department's policy on personal use of agency equipment and resources.
B. The Agency will provide appropriate information to employees on how to file for a vacancy and how to complete the appropriate form(s). The Agency will make instructional material on the promotional process available to bargaining unit employees.

Interviews shall be conducted within the bargaining unit and shall cease upon selection of a candidate for the posted position by merit, ability and seniority. Vacancies will be filled for each posting within thirty (30) work days of the end of the posting period if a qualified candidate is found. The employer reserves the right to repost if there are no qualified candidates.
