ARTICLE UNIFORMS. I The Employer agrees that if any employee is required to wear any kind of uniform as a condition of his continued employment, such uniform shall be furnished and maintained by the employer, free of charge, at the standard required by the employer. No employee shall be required to wear a uniform that does not bear a Union label. Before employees are requested to wear a uniform by the Company, the Union shall be consulted as to the type and standard. It is further provided that the voluntary pooling arrangements for the purchase or rental of uniforms shall not come within the scope of this Agreement.

ARTICLE UNIFORMS. The Employer agrees to maintain its present policy with regard to supplying and laundering lab coats to members of its staff.
ARTICLE UNIFORMS. The EMPLOYER shall furnish and pay for four perma-pressed shirts, winter or summer type, per year to each regular full-time employee. In addition to the above, the EMPLOYER shall furnish and pay for the following equipment for regular full-time employees: One summer hat and one winter hat; One jacket. Two pairs of winter trousers and two pairs of summer trousers; Two black ties. Such uniforms shall remain the property of the EMPLOYER and shall be replaced as needed. ARTICLE BID RUNS Three times annually, on dates mutually agreeable between the EMPLOYER and the ASSOCIATION, the EMPLOYER shall post a list of of runs describing in general terms the areas to be served, the nature of work to be performed, the starting times, approximate duration and the estimated crew complements for each of the blocks. After such runs are posted for a minimum of one week, the senior eighty percent of the regular full-time employees shall, in order of their overall seniority, be offered an opportunity to bid for assignment to the of runs set up by the EMPLOYER. In the event an employee fails to bid at the time the opportunity is offered, he may bid thereafter, but only from the vacancies available at the time the employee so bids. If an employee fails bid prior to the date the new assignments are made, such employee will be consi- dered a pool employee. In the event some of these employees elect not to bid, the right to bid shall be extended to other regular full-time truck employees in order of seniority until a maximum of eighty percent of the regular full-time truck employees have bid for assignment. It shall be the employee's responsibility to advise the EMPLOYER in of their run selections should they be absent during the selection period. On the first week of the months following the completion of the bids, employees shall be assigned to the new blocks on which they have bid. Employees who bid for such blocks must be qualified to perform all duties required in the classification in which they bid. Regular full-time employees who are not eligible to bid, those regu- lar full-time employees who are eligible to bid but do not elect to do so, and part-time employees shall compose a pool of unbid employees. No employee shall be required to wear a uniform that does not bear the union label. The Company will involve the Union in the choice of style and quality of uniforms to be provided to drivers. Section Pooling Arrangements for Uniforms It is further provided that voluntary pooling arrangements for the purchase of or rental of uniforms shall not come within the scope of this Agreement.

ARTICLE UNIFORMS. (a) The Company will pay each full-time employee before May of each year toward the purchase of safety shoes or boots. Outside employees will be allowed an additional pair of winterized safety boots per year. The Company will pay each full-time employee ($65.00)before May of each year toward the purchase of this second pair of safety boots. The Company will provide those employees who are entitled to the winter bonus with one (1) pair of winter rubbers, at no cost to the employee. Hard hats will be supplied to all employees however if an employee willfully loses or damages his hat, he will bear the cost of replacement. Where the hat is damaged accidentally, the Company will replace the hat at no charge to the employee. Gloves shall be supplied to employees in accordance with Company policy. Copies of this policy will be provided to the Union and cannot be arbitrarily withdrawn by the Company. The Company shall provide, at no cost to the employee, one (1) leather apron for the Finger Joint Machine tailor. There shall be one (1) apron per machine and the apron shall be left with the machine. The Company agrees to investigate, with the safety committee, to identify jobs where aprons can be safely worn, and where it is necessary. The Company will provide a maximum of four (4) canvas apron yearly, to positions identified, upon presentation of worn aprons.
