Bilingual Stipends. 1. In assigning students to classes in grades one through six prior to the beginning of the school year, the District shall make every reasonable effort to balance the composition of those classes so that the classes at each grade level at a particular elementary school site will contain the same or nearly the same numbers of Limited English Proficient (LEP) and Non-English Proficient (NEP) students.

Bilingual Stipends. Employees who are required to use their bilingual skills significantly in the course of their normal workday to communicate with the students, families and/or public on a regular basis may request and receive an annual Bilingual stipend payment of $750.00 added to their current salary, to be paid monthly, prorated to their pay cycle. This stipend requires the approval of their site administrator.
Bilingual Stipends a. Unit members who possess a BCLAD or BCC and who serve in an assignment in which they are required to provide instructional or support services to students bilingually shall be paid an annual stipend of $500. The unit member shall not be serving under an emergency permit or waiver. In positions where a unit member does not have a BCLAD or a BCC, second-language proficiency standards shall be established by the District. This stipend applies to the following positions: classroom teacher, Education Specialist, SDC moderate/severe teacher, speech therapist*, social worker*, instrumental music teacher, nurse*, psychologist*, and pre-school teacher*. (District provided second-language proficiency standards shall apply to positions indicated by “*”.)

Bilingual Stipends. 27 9.11.1 Any unit member who has successfully passed the District’s bilingual test(s), 28 verbal, and/or written, and is assigned to be available to provide such service 29 shall receive additional compensation of two-and-one-half percent (2 ½%) to 30 his/her regular rate of pay for all hours worked for the duration of the period of 31 availability as determined by the District.

Occasional Translation Services 2 Unit members who perform occasional work with oral and/or written 3 translation and have passed the District’s bilingual competency 4 examination shall receive five percent (5%) above the unit member’s 5 hourly rate of pay for any hours the unit member spends performing 6 translation services. Unit members whose job descriptions require 7 bilingual competency are exempt from this differential pay rate.
Bilingual Stipends. The District shall provide a seventy-five dollar ($75.00) a month stipend to 21 unit members designated annually by their site principals or District Office supervisor as being responsible for 22 providing interpretation services. There shall be two (2) unit members eligible for the bilingual stipend at the 23 District Office, Paloma Valley High School and Perris Lake High School. Two (2) unit members may be 24 designated at Pinacate Middle School, Heritage High School and Community Day School, and three (3) 25 individuals at Perris High School. The individual may decline the designation. The parties agree to utilize data 1 from student information system and input from the site principals to determine what, if any, additional stipends 2 should be provided throughout the District.

  • Bilingual Stipend Unit members who are directed by the manager or supervisor, with the approval of the President, to use a verified bilingual ability as a regular and routine component of their assignment shall be provided a stipend of 2.0% of base salary. The District shall require testing of bilingual ability prior to authorization of the initial additional compensation.

  • Longevity Stipend One (1) Renton Technical College longevity stipend in the amount of six hundred dollars ($600) will be paid annually in July to each qualifying employee who has ten (10) or more year’s seniority on July 5th.

  • Bilingual Pay 1. Except as provided in 2. below, qualified employees who meet the following criteria shall receive an additional forty (40) cents per hour (approximately sixty-nine [69] dollars per month) for all hours actually paid. This will not apply to the class of Interpreter.

  • School Nurses The salary of a nurse with a graduate nursing degree will be 90% of the XX Xxxx of Schedule A. The salary of a nurse with a BS Nursing Degree will be the same as the XX Xxxx of Schedule A.

  • Bilingual Bonus A seven percent (7%) bilingual bonus will be paid to those employees who in the performance of their duties are required by the Employer to use the second official language on a regular and consistent basis.

  • Technical Assistance The State agrees to provide technical assistance regarding the State’s rules, regulations and policies to the Sub- Recipient and to assist in the correction of problem areas identified by the State’s monitoring activities.

  • Casual Nurses i) It is understood that casual Nurses do not have normal hours of work. All assignments for the next day will be faxed by the office by 1630h.

  • Training Assistance (a) Employees shall be reimbursed for one hundred percent (100%) of the tuition for job-related courses approved by the Employer.

  • Per Diem Nurses 550. If per diem nurses are required to move from one City location to another during normal working hours, they shall have access to Municipal Railway passes as necessary.

  • Community Based Adult Intensive Service (AIS) and Child and Family Intensive Treatment (CFIT) – AIS/CFIT programs offer services primarily based in the home and community for qualifying adults and children with moderate- to-severe mental health conditions. These programs consist at a minimum of ongoing emergency/crisis evaluations, psychiatric assessment, medication evaluation and management, case management, psychiatric nursing services, and individual, group, and family therapy. In a Provider’s Office/In Your Home This plan covers individual psychotherapy, group psychotherapy, and family therapy when rendered by: • Psychiatrists; • Licensed Clinical Psychologists; • Licensed Independent Clinical Social Workers; • Advance Practice Registered Nurses (Clinical Nurse Specialists/Nurse Practitioners- Behavioral Health); • Licensed Mental Health Counselors; and • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists. Psychological Testing This plan covers psychological testing as a behavioral health benefit when rendered by: • neuropsychologists; • psychologists; or • pediatric neurodevelopmental specialists. This plan covers neuropsychological testing as described in the Tests, Labs and Imaging section.
