Salary Schedule Conditions. The salary schedule is attached as Appendices A.1 and A.2.

Salary Schedule Conditions. The salary schedule will apply in the following conditions:
a) Step increases are contingent on successful completion of each year of employment.
b) The successful completion of the probationary year shall be documented by a letter from the Employee’s supervisor recommending removing the Employee from probationary status. Firefighter/Paramedic will be paid at these rates as long as they maintain all state requirements and remain state certified.

Experience Credit Upon Appointment Credit given new teachers for teaching experience at the N-12 level outside Great Neck Public Schools shall be as follows: Full credit up to a maximum of two (2) years for such outside experience, provided that no credit shall be given for a partial year. Credit given new teachers for teaching experience on an hourly, part time annual basis, or college level within or outside Great Neck Public Schools shall be as follows: One full year's credit for each two years including at least 400 hours per year of service on a part time, hourly or college level, provided that no credit shall be given for a partial year. One year's credit for 200 days up to a maximum of two years credit for 400 days of per diem teaching experience within Great Neck.

Salary Schedule Conditions. A. Progression in the Salary Schedule 1. a. Advancement from level to level shall be implemented twice a year. Changes in salary schedule due to professional advancement will be granted twice yearly on September first and February first after which the teacher submits evidence of the completion of requirements. Credits for such advancement must meet the approval of the Superintendent prior to the commencement of the course work. Requests for approval of credits shall be answered within ten (10) workdays of the date of the request.

4. Salary schedule conditions shown in Article 48, Section F, G, H, I, J, K, shall apply to all teachers covered by this article. All hourly faculty are required to use time sheets to record the time they work each day, and they will be paid on a two-week lag payroll.
Salary Schedule Conditions. A. Pay periods shall be every other Friday, or as close thereto as practical.
B. Salaries shall be paid either on a ten month or twelve month basis. If on a twelve month basis, the July and August payments shall be included in the final check issued in June.
C. The District agrees to implement a payroll deduction plan whereby a unit member may direct the payment of money from each paycheck to be placed in a credit union. The employee’s election of this deduction may not be changed until the school year following the election. However, an employee may vary the amount of his/her deduction at any time.
D. Enrollment in a Tax Sheltered Annuity shall be during the months of September to February.
