Bus Drivers - Work Day and Runs. 1. The work day for a full-time driver shall consist of a maximum of nine (9) regularly scheduled runs or runs equivalent to a six (6) hour day or thirty (30) hours per week for a permanent relief driver. Any employee working on a permanent basis but less than full time shall be considered part-time. 2. Less or more than nine runs or six hours, salary is pro-rated on the basis of number of runs or six hours. In the calculation of six (6) hours, a noontime run (11-1) shall be counted as one and one-half (1-1/2) hours or its actual length, whichever is longer. Shuttle runs will be calculated on an hourly rate and be paid as stipends. 3. The District shall designate packages of runs for selection by drivers. Prior to the end of the third week of August, full-time drivers from the previous school year will select a package in order of seniority. When all previous year full-time drivers have selected their packages, previous year part-time drivers shall make their selections in order of seniority. Copies of each route shall be available to each driver before selection of runs. 4. If a run(s) is eliminated from a full-time driver's package after the selection in 3. above, the District shall replace the run(s) on or before the next November 1 or the next February 1, whichever first occurs after the run(s) is eliminated. It is acknowledged that such a replacement will probably reduce the assigned runs for part-time drivers. If there are no part-time drivers or if the only possible available replacement run(s) are performed by a full-time driver, then the reduction shall be made in the assigned runs of a full-time driver.

Bus Drivers - Work Day and Runs. 1. The work week for a full-time bus driver will consist of a thirty-one (31) hour work week in a twelve (12) hour window. Packages may be a combination of assigned regular daily runs or flex assignment runs that include home-to-school runs, shuttle runs or field trip or athletic runs which may be up to eight (8) hours per day or forty (40) hours per week. It may also include other runs that are not able to be covered by a driver who is absent; dispatch or clerical work within the transportation office; or emergency assignment as a bus aide. The twelve (12) hour window will begin at the start of required pre-trip inspections. The normal work week will be from Monday to Friday. One position will include a Saturday and five weekdays. Part-time packages will also be within a twelve (12) hour window. 2. Any driver working outside their twelve (12) hour contracted window will be paid their regular rate of pay up to forty (40) hours physically worked. Any driver employed before July 1, 2008 who works outside their twelve (12) hour contracted window will receive their regular hourly rate of pay up to forty (40) hours physically worked per week or $17.48 (2008-2009), $18.21 (2009-2010), or $18.98 (2010-2011), whichever is greater. Work beyond forty (40) hours physically worked will be paid at the rate of time-and-one-half. Sunday and holiday pay will be at the rate of time-and-one-half. 3. All bus drivers will work 180 calendar days plus one day for inservice. Any contract that extends beyond 181 will be vouchered at the full daily rate of pay. 4. When schools are closed because of inclement weather, bus drivers shall not be expected to report to work. This does not preclude vocational runs, parochial or special receiving districts, or athletic events if held. 5. Any flexible work assigned or picked by the driver that is not a regularly scheduled home-to-school shuttle run that is cancelled within 48 hours of the trip will result in the driver receiving one hour credit toward their required hours. 6. All required hours for flex drivers are picked on a rotating basis by seniority. 7. All scheduled runs should be posted and picked a minimum of two school days preceding each month. 8. All runs not previously posted shall be immediately posted and on a continued rotating schedule within each month. 9.   • Work Day and Work Week The normal work day shall consist of up to 8 hours of work within a 24-hour period. The normal work week shall consist of up to 40 hours of work within a 7-day period. The Employer may define the work week on an individual, department, shift or facility basis in accordance with Federal and State law.

  • Standard Work Week The standard work week for full-time employees covered by this Agreement shall be forty (40) hours, exclusive of the time allotted for meal periods, consisting of five (5) consecutive work days followed by two (2) consecutive days off. The week shall commence with the shift that includes 12:01 A.M. Sunday of each calendar week and end at the start of the shift that includes 12:00 midnight the following Saturday. The Employer retains the right to modify the work schedules to meet operational needs.

  • Work Week and Work Day (a) (Applicable to full-time employees only) The normal or standard work week shall be an average of thirty-seven and one-half (37½) hours, with a normal or standard work day of seven and one-half (7½) hours except in those Hospitals where agreements already provide a standard or normal work week of less than thirty-seven and one-half (37½) hours per week and seven and one-half (7½) hours per day. (Those Hospitals with the lesser required hours shall reflect in the salary rates a pro-rata lesser amount compared with salaries for other Hospitals based on the ratio that the standard or normal hours of work at the Hospital concerned are to thirty-seven and one-half (37½) hours and shall appropriately reflect such hours in this Article). The length of time over which the hours of work per week are to be averaged shall be determined locally and shall be set out in the Local Provisions Appendix. (b) (applicable to part-time employees only) The normal or standard work day shall be seven and one-half (7½) hours per day and the normal or standard full- time work week shall be an average of thirty-seven and one- half (37½) hours per week except in those hospitals where agreements already provide a normal or standard work day of less than seven and one-half hours and a normal or standard full-time work week of less than thirty-seven and one-half (37½) hours. (Those Hospitals with the lesser required hours shall reflect in the salary rates a pro-rata lesser amount compared with salaries for other Hospitals based on the ratio that the standard or normal hours work at the Hospital concerned are to thirty-seven and one-half (37½) hours and shall appropriately reflect such hours in this article.) Part-time employees shall be entitled to overtime pay at the rate of time and one-half their regular straight time hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of the normal or standard work day or in excess of the normal or standard full-time work week. The length of time over which the hours of work per week are to be averaged shall be determined locally and shall be set out in the Local Provisions Appendix. (c) Where the Hospital and the Union agree, subject to the approval of the Ministry of Labour, other arrangements regarding hours of work may be entered into between parties on a local level with respect to tours beyond the normal or standard work day in accordance with the provisions set out in Article 25.01 of the collective agreement.

  • Construction Phase Services 3.1.1 – Basic Construction Services

  • DISTRIBUTION OF CONTRACTOR PRICE LIST AND CONTRACT APPENDICES Contractor shall provide Authorized Users with electronic copies of the Contract, including price lists and Appendices, upon request. Contract Updates will be handled as provided in Appendix C – Contract Modification Procedures.

  • Compressed Work Week The Company and Union recognize the concept of the compressed work week. It is further understood that the compressed work week conditions will apply only to those departments that are on the compressed work week.

  • PREVAILING WAGE RATES - PUBLIC WORKS AND BUILDING SERVICES CONTRACTS If any portion of work being Bid is subject to the prevailing wage rate provisions of the Labor Law, the following shall apply:

  • Change Orders and Contract Amendments 33.1 The Procuring Entity may at any time order the Supplier through notice in accordance GCC Clause 8, to make changes within the general scope of the Contract in any one or more of the following: a) drawings, designs, or specifications, where Goods to be furnished under the Contract are to be specifically manufactured for the Procuring Entity; b) the method of shipment or packing; c) the place of delivery; and d) the Related Services to be provided by the Supplier. 33.2 If any such change causes an increase or decrease in the cost of, or the time required for, the Supplier's performance of any provisions under the Contract, an equitable adjustment shall be made in the Contract Price or in the Delivery/Completion Schedule, or both, and the Contract shall accordingly be amended. Any claims by the Supplier for adjustment under this Clause must be asserted within twenty-eight (28) days from the date of the Supplier's receipt of the Procuring Entity's change order. 33.3 Prices to be charged by the Supplier for any Related Services that might be needed but which were not included in the Contract shall be agreed upon in advance by the parties and shall not exceed the prevailing rates charged to other parties by the Supplier for similar services.

  • PRE-CONSTRUCTION PHASE SERVICES The Pre-Construction Phase shall be deemed to commence upon the date specified in a written Notice to Proceed with Pre-Construction Phase Services issued by Owner and shall continue through completion of the Construction Documents and procurement of all major Subcontractor agreements. Contractor is not entitled to reimbursement for any costs incurred for Pre-Construction Phase Services performed before issuance of the written Notice to Proceed. Pre-Construction Phase Services may overlap Construction Phase Services. Contractor shall perform the following Pre-Construction Phase Services:
