Casual Part-time Employee i) The employee will declare on a bi-weekly basis her or his availability for work on specified days of the next two (2) week period.
ii) An employee who declares herself or himself available for any tour and later becomes unavailable for work shall notify the Hospital with twenty-four (24) hours notice except in an emergency.
Casual Part-time Employee. A part-time employee in the bargaining unit who is employed on a relief or replacement basis and who is available for call-ins as circumstances demand.
Casual Part-time Employee. One who is employed on a random basis to fill in for any other employee.
Casual Part-time Employee is an employee who works on an “on call” or “short term” basis whose employment may vary in length from day to day and week to week in circumstances where there is no permanent employee able to perform the available work.
Casual Part-time Employee. Casual part-time employee shall be defined as an employee who regularly works twenty-four (24) hours of less per week on a relief or an ad hoc basis and may be called as required by the hospital. The parties agree that such casual employee has the option of refusing work when such work is made available to him. The regular hours of part-time employees may be extended by mutual agreement without changing their status as part-time employees.

Replacement hours will be distributed first to regular part-time employees and then to casual part-time employees. A casual part-time employee will earn seniority as of date of hire.
