Committee Persons. The Board acknowledges the right of the Union to appoint or otherwise select a Committee consisting of one (1) Chairperson and one (1) Vice-Chairperson and up to eight (8) Committee Persons to assist employees in presenting their complaints or grievances to the Board or its representatives.
Committee Persons. 5.4(a) The Union may designate three (3) employees as committee-persons. Additional committee- persons may be designated by mutual agreement. Where Company locations are geographically separated the Union may designate a committee- person for that location providing that there are more than four (4) bargaining unit employees at said location.
Committee Persons. The Employer will maintain their benefits, vacation, holiday pay and sick pay, and their RRSP contribution, and they will continue to accrue seniority as if they were working in their home position(s). Save and except in the case of a closure, the five (5) persons holding these positions will not be laid off notwithstanding their seniority status. They will be the final persons in the bargaining unit to be laid off.
Committee Persons. 5.4(a) The Union may designate employees as committee-persons. This committee will consist of not less than six (6) committee-persons. However, the Company agrees to recognize a minimum of one (1) committee-person on any shift in any Company facility. The Union may also designate one (1) of the employees assigned by the Company to a mobile repair party (MRP) as the Union representative.
Committee Persons. The Employer recognizes the right of the Union to designate a Committee person and an alternate from the seniority list. The authority of the Committee person and alternate so designated by the Union shall be limited to and shall not exceed the investigation and presentation of grievances.
Committee Persons. 7.01 The Union Committee shall consist of five (5) employees of the University, one of whom may be the President or Vice President of the Union. The Union Committee shall cooperate with the University in the administration of this Agreement and shall deal with all grievances, negotiations and any matter properly arising out of this Agreement.
Committee Persons. This Committee shall consist of a Negotiating Committee of four (4) second shift (days) Committee persons, two (2) Committee persons on the third shift (afternoons) and two (2) Committee persons on the first shift (midnights) provided the Company production schedules require first and third shift operations. The Negotiating Committee shall consist of four (4) Committee members, one (1) of whom shall be the Plant Chairperson and one (1) of whom shall be the Skilled Trades Committee person elected by the skilled trades employees and represent same, along with a representative from the National Union and/or the President of the Unifor Local 27. All members of the Union Plant Negotiating Committee shall work the day shift. The Company will recognize alternate Committee persons who will only be authorized to function in the absence of the official Committee person.
Committee Persons. The Union may assign responsibilities to the Committee Persons and will inform the Employer of any specific roles (eg: benefits, safety, WSIB, etc.).
Committee Persons. Upon receipt of notice from the Union, the Employer will relieve the individuals holding these positions from all regular duties within five (5) working days. In the event that it is not possible to release an individual within the five (5) working days, the Company will provide the Union with the reason in advance of the five (5) days and will make every effort to release the individual as soon as possible. The Union will establish full-time hours of work for these five (5)
Committee Persons. The Commission recognizes that there shall be one Unit Chairperson and representation as follows: For each Division: One Committee Person – Specialized Services Department Two Committee Persons – Operations Department and Support Services Department Two Committee Persons – Maintenance and Equipment Department (only one of whom shall be a Skilled Trades person) One of the above five Committee Persons shall be elected as the Divisional Vice- Chairperson.
