Compensation for Unused Leave. ‌ Unused earned vacation time shall be paid to the employee at his/her regular rate of pay at the time of separation from service.

Compensation for Unused Leave. Fire fighters shall be compensated for unused sick leave within the fiscal year on the following basis: For Fire Fighters Assigned To A Three Platoon System 0 - 24 hours used $400 25 - 48 hours used $300 49 - 72 hours used $200 For Fire Fighters Assigned To A Forty Hour Schedule 0 - 8 hours used $325 This additional compensation for unused sick leave shall be paid on the first payday of August for sick leave which was not used during the previous fiscal year.

Compensation for Unused Leave. 1. Employees shall be compensated for unused sick days and unused personal days according to the following: a.. Credit will be granted in each year for all unused sick and personal days. 2. The credited days as specified above will be reimbursed at retirement according to the following schedule: a. Custodians and secretaries will be reimbursed at the following rates per 0-100 days $25.00 101-200 days $35.00 Over 200 days $45.00 b. Teachers will be reimbursed at the following rates per day: 0-100 days $40.00 101-200 days $50.00 Over 200 days $60.00 c. The provisions of paragraph E apply only to sick days and personal days accumulated while working for Mainland Regional High School. No reimbursement will be given for such days accumulated with another employer. 3. The Superintendent will be notified one (1) year in advance of the date of retirement for eligibility under this benefit. Failure to do so may result in a delay of payment not to exceed one (1) year. 4. Each teacher will be given an updated account each year of their sick leave bank indicating both available sick days and personal days. 5. For the purposes of this Section E, the term “retirement” will be defined by the following: 1. An employee has submitted a letter to the Board of Education indicating the Employee’s intention to retire; and 2. The request to retire has been duly approved by the Board of Education at an appropriate meeting; and 3. The employee has submitted the necessary paperwork to the Public Employees Retirement System- Teachers’ Pension and Annuity Fund (the Fund) to commence receipt of retirement pay; and 4. The paperwork has been accepted by the Fund; and 5. In the case of a deferred retirement, an employee is considered retired for purposes of this Section E when that employee has filed an application to receive deferred retirement and the deferred retirement is determined to become effective by the Fund; and 6. The employee may collect the accumulated sick and personal days at the rate in the current contract under Section E.

Compensation for Unused Leave. 1. The total unused accumulated leave, not to exceed 30 days, shall be paid to the teacher at the daily rate of said teacher’s contracted base nine month salary at the time of retirement, as defined by KPERS, resignation due to permanent disability that would prevent performance of teaching duties, or upon death to his/her beneficiaries. This remuneration applies to retirement only after employment of three consecutive years in the district. 2. Any accumulated leave days in excess of 90 remaining at the end of a teacher’s contract will be compensated at the rate of .5 of a daily substitute’s pay. 3. Any teacher who has unused leave days for the current contract year has the option to: a. choose to add their remaining days to their banked leave or sick leave. b. choose to be compensated for two days at the daily substitutes pay (Grandfather Clause: certified personnel who began with 80 days or more on August 1999 will be compensated at the daily rate of the teacher’s current contract). c. choose to donate days to the Leave Pool. d. Employees leaving the district may not donate unused or un-reimbursed leave days to the sick leave pool once they have tendered their resignations.

Compensation for Unused Leave. Police Officers shall be compensated for unused sick leave within the fiscal year on the following basis: This additional compensation for unused sick leave shall be paid on or before the 15th day of August and shall be a separate check from the normal paycheck. For purposes of this subsection, sick leave deducted for purposes of funeral leave shall not be counted against the employee.

Compensation for Overtime Assigned overtime is designated as those hours over the regular hours of work which are requested of the employee by management. Assigned overtime worked shall be paid at the rate of time and one-half (1 1/2).
HOLIDAY COMPENSATION FOR TIME WORKED 110. Employees required by their respective appointing officers to work on any of the above specified or substitute holidays, excepting Fridays observed as holidays in lieu of holidays falling on Saturday, shall be paid extra compensation of one additional day's pay at time-and-one-half the usual rate in the amount of 12 hours pay for 8 hours worked or a proportionate amount for less than 8 hours worked provided, however, that at the employee's request and with the approval of the appointing officer, an employee may be granted compensatory time off in lieu of paid overtime pursuant to the provisions of Section III.E.2. 111. Executive, administrative and professional employees designated in the Annual Salary Ordinance with the "Z" symbol shall not receive extra compensation for holiday work but may be granted time off equivalent to the time worked at the rate of-one-and-one-half times for work on the holiday.
’ Compensation Leave If such determination cannot readily be made and all healthcare leave or annual leave subject to 100% payoff has been applied to the absence, the employee shall be placed on Official Leave until a final determination is made.
Annual Compensation The Executive's "Annual Compensation" for purposes of this Agreement shall be deemed to mean the highest level of base salary paid to the Executive by the Employers or any subsidiary thereof during any of the three calendar years ending during the calendar year in which the Date of Termination occurs.
Developer Compensation for Emergency Services If, during an Emergency State, the Developer provides services at the request or direction of the NYISO or Connecting Transmission Owner, the Developer will be compensated for such services in accordance with the NYISO Services Tariff.
Extra Compensation The Board shall pay no fees, other than described above, to the PA/E unless authorized by the Board as follows: A. If the scope of the Project or site is changed, the Board and the PA/E shall negotiate a reasonable fee based upon the probable estimated construction cost in changing the scope of the work and the approximate percentage of the estimated construction cost which was used to negotiate this Agreement if, and, as such may be applicable. B. If the DOE or Board requires the PA/E to make major or costly changes to the Schematic, Preliminary or Construction Document Phase submittals, which changes are not caused by architectural or engineering error or oversight, the PA/E shall be paid to redesign for additional expenses in an amount agreed to by the parties. Under no circumstances will the principals of the PA/E and the principals of his consultants be paid a fee in excess of $125.00 per hour.
PROFESSIONAL COMPENSATION 11.1 The basic salaries of teachers covered by this Contract shall be set in accordance with the procedures set forth in this Agreement. 11.2 The salary of the teacher will be presumed correct as shown in the Uniform Teacher’s Contract unless the teacher or the Employer furnishes evidence of error. 11.3 An explanation as to how contract salary figures are computed will accompany the first paycheck of each school year. 11.4 Basic salaries for teachers shall be paid in twenty-six (26) payments. Basic salaries for teachers shall be paid in twenty-six (26) payments in a given calendar year. Exceptions may be made with the approval of the Cash Flow Committee. A teacher may receive the balance due on his contract with the first scheduled paycheck in July by written notice to the Business Office by May 1. If May 1 occurs on a day that school is not in session, the deadline shall be the next regular school day. A teacher who makes this election shall continue each year to receive the balance due on his contract with the first scheduled paycheck in July unless he notifies the Business Office by May 1 that he prefers to be paid in twenty-six (26) payments. Teachers will be notified by the Cash Flow Committee of the Xxxxxxx Teachers’ Federation prior to June 1 in the event the balance on teachers’ contracts due on the first scheduled paycheck in July cannot be paid. 11.5 New teachers will receive one half (½) of their first pay one payroll in advance and the remaining one half (½) on the next pay date. 11.6 Effective January 1, 2009, teacher pay will be issued via direct deposit only. 11.7 The Superintendent may approve additional compensation for individual teachers who have been authorized by the Superintendent to perform additional work assignments. 11.8 Payroll deductions for teachers shall be made as required by law or as mutually agreed to by the parties. Teachers may authorize deductions for tax-sheltered annuities during open enrollment periods of the carrier companies involved. 11.9 Deductions for daily absences not covered by provisions in the Contract shall be made at the same rate as earned. 11.10 Effective January 1, 1993, the Board shall pay directly to the Indiana State Teachers Retirement Fund each teacher’s three percent (3%) contribution to the fund. 11.11 The parties recognize that the salaries which appear on Regular Teacher’s Contracts and Teacher’s Temporary Contracts will be inaccurate whenever a salary increase is approved after these contracts have been executed. At the time of a teacher’s retirement, the Employer will review these contracts and, when necessary, revise the contracts for the five (5) years of service before retirement in which the teacher’s annual compensation was highest so they accurately reflect the sums which the teacher earned in each of those five (5) years. 11.12 The parties recognize that students are entitled to be taught by fully qualified teachers, while at the same time recognizing a professional responsibility to assist in the preparation of student teachers. Therefore, supervision by a teacher of a student teacher shall be voluntary. No teacher should serve as a supervising teacher more than one-half (1/2) of the total teaching time each year. This provision was not bargained and has been included for informational purposes only. Should 11.13 If the Employer determines that any committee should continue its work during the summer, teachers belonging to the committee performing such services shall be paid on the same basis and in the same manner as summer school teachers. If the Employer determines that professional development should occur in the summer, specific teachers invited to participate shall be paid on the same basis as summer school teachers.
Compensation for Losses Upon demand of any Lender (with a copy to the Administrative Agent) from time to time, the Borrower shall promptly compensate such Lender for and hold such Lender harmless from any loss, cost or expense incurred by it as a result of: (a) any continuation, conversion, payment or prepayment of any Loan other than a Base Rate Loan on a day other than the last day of the Interest Period for such Loan (whether voluntary, mandatory, automatic, by reason of acceleration, or otherwise); (b) any failure by the Borrower (for a reason other than the failure of such Lender to make a Loan) to prepay, borrow, continue or convert any Loan other than a Base Rate Loan on the date or in the amount notified by the Borrower; or (c) any assignment of a Eurodollar Rate Loan on a day other than the last day of the Interest Period therefor as a result of a request by the Borrower pursuant to Section 10.13; including any loss of anticipated profits and any loss or expense arising from the liquidation or reemployment of funds obtained by it to maintain such Loan or from fees payable to terminate the deposits from which such funds were obtained. The Borrower shall also pay any customary administrative fees charged by such Lender in connection with the foregoing. For purposes of calculating amounts payable by the Borrower to the Lenders under this Section 3.05, each Lender shall be deemed to have funded each Eurodollar Rate Loan made by it at the Eurodollar Rate for such Loan by a matching deposit or other borrowing in the London interbank eurodollar market for a comparable amount and for a comparable period, whether or not such Eurodollar Rate Loan was in fact so funded.
Total Compensation Contractor shall include Total Compensation in XXX for each of its five most highly compensated Executives for the preceding fiscal year if: 4.1. The total Federal funding authorized to date under the Award is $25,000 or more; and 4.2. In the preceding fiscal year, Contractor received:
Termination Compensation Termination Compensation equal to two (2) times the Executive's Base Period Income shall be paid to the Executive in a single sum payment in cash on the thirtieth (30th) business day after the later of (a) the Control Change Date and (b) the date of the Executive's employment termination; provided that if at the time of the Executive's termination of employment the Executive is a Specified Employee, then payment of the Termination Compensation to the Executive shall be made on the first day of the seventh (7th) month following the Executive's employment termination.
