Contract Management Management meetings. The Contractor will be expected to attend meetings relating to the project, maintenance, operation’s, contract management and other issues that may arise from time to time. As far as is practicable, the Contractor will make all required persons available for these meetings. The Contractor shall not submit claims for payment for staff attending any of these meetings. Either party will nominate a person to take minutes of the meeting. The Minutes to be distributed prior to date of the next meeting. The Meeting to take place every Friday of the week at 14H00 unless pre-arranged by either party Health and safety risk management (i) The Project Manager shall be entitled to fine the Contractor low service damages for each non-conformance to Health and Safety matters. This shall not transfer any of the Contractor’s responsibilities in this regard to the Employer by any means.

As far as is practicable, the Contractor shall make all required persons available for these meetings. The Contractor shall not submit claims for payment for staff attending any of these meetings. Regular meetings of a general nature may be convened and chaired by the Service Manager as follows: Title and purpose Approximate time & interval Location Attendance by: Project progress meeting and safety inspections Weekly Onsite Contractor, Technician and Employer’s safety officers Overall contract progress and feedback Monthly Onsite/telecon/skype Service Manager, Contractor and Supervisor Meetings of a specialist nature may be convened as specified elsewhere in this Works Information or if not so specified by persons and at times and locations to suit the Parties, the nature and the progress of the works. Records of these meetings shall be submitted to the Service Manager by the person convening the meeting within five days of the meeting. All meetings shall be recorded using minutes or a register prepared and circulated by the person who convened the meeting. Such minutes or register shall not be used for the purpose of confirming actions or instructions under the contract as these shall be done separately by the person identified in the conditions of contract to carry out such actions or instructions. Health and safety risk management The Contractor shall comply with the health and safety requirements contained in this document. The Service Manager shall be entitled to fine the Contractor an amount of R5000.00 for each non-conformance to Health and Safety matters. This shall not transfer any of the Contractor’s responsibilities in this regard to the Employer by any means. The Contractor shall be fully responsible for compliance to the Occupational Health and Safety Act for all persons, equipment and installations relating to this Contract. The Contractor is expected to sign the undertaking in this regard as attached in the annexes. It shall be the Contractor’s responsibility to ensure that all relevant labour and safety legislation is adhered to in rostering staff. All persons on company premises shall obey all health and safety rules, procedures and practices, NO SMOKING signs and the prohibition of the carrying of smoking materials in designated areas shall always be obeyed.   • Union/Management Meetings ‌ The Union Committee and the Senior Union Official of the Union, or her/his representative, shall, as occasion warrants, meet with the Committee on Labour Relations for the purpose of discussing and negotiating a speedy settlement of any grievance or dispute arising between the Employer and the employee concerned, including possible re-negotiations relative to this Agreement and the Schedules which are a part hereof. However, except for renegotiations of Agreements, these matters shall be introduced to such meetings only after the established grievance procedure has been followed. Grievances of a general nature may be initiated by a member of the Union Committee in step two of the grievance procedure outlined in Article 9.04.

  • Labour Management Meetings The committee meeting shall normally be held every second month however, either party may call a meeting of the Joint Labour Management Committee. The meeting shall be held at a time and place fixed by mutual agreement but no later than fourteen (14) calendar days after the initial request, unless mutually agreed.

  • Project Managers; Meetings 10.1 Promptly following the Effective Date, each Party shall designate a Project Manager responsible for coordinating the Party’s Work and shall provide the other Party with a written notice containing the name and contact information of such Project Manager (“Project Manager”).
