Driver Requirements. A. The Contractor shall ensure all drivers have passed a Level 1 Background Check as well as maintain safe driver standards. Background checks shall be completed at no additional cost to the Center. Successful results of background checks shall be provided to the Center’s Security Division representative prior to performing services under this contract.
B. The Contractor shall provide copies of Florida Driver’s Licenses to the Center’s Representative of all drivers assigned to the Center prior to reporting on duty.
C. All vehicles and drivers shall meet the Center’s acceptable standards for safety, cleanliness, appearance, driver conduct and adhere to all of the Center’s policies and procedures.
D. The bus drivers shall understand and speak English to the riders and the Center staff.
Driver Requirements. An adequate number of licensed drivers will be maintained by Vendor as employees to meet the regular and substitute driver needs required to successfully operate the number of vehicles required for the runs. Drivers must:
X. Xx trained regarding all services required to meet proper student needs;
B. Be at least twenty-one (21) years of age;
C. Be in compliance with all city, state and federal vehicle driver licensing and permit laws and requirements;
D. Meet all existing and/or future Board, city, state and federal requirements for substance abuse testing and criminal background investigations;
E. Have no reckless driving charges within 3 years; tickets for driving 25 mph over speed limit within the past 3 years;
F. Have no DUI Vendor shall complete a full background check as specified in Section 16 of the General Terms and Conditions in the Agreement which includes, but is not limited to, not permitting any individual who has been convicted of any of the criminal offenses enumerated in 105 ILCS 5/34-18.5(c) of the Illinois School Code (as may be amended) to serve as a vehicle driver or provide any service under this Contract. Vendor shall comply with the current US Department of Transportation (“DOT”) and State of Illinois laws and regulations as may be from time to time amended as well as any other pertinent local, state, and federal laws and regulations that may be or come into effect, pertaining to drug and alcohol testing of licensed vehicle drivers. Pre-employment, post-accident, reasonable suspicion and random testing must be conducted for those driving vehicles hereunder as such regulations require. All required state and federal DOT reports shall be completed and filed in a timely manner. Vendor shall immediately notify the Board upon any driver(s) testing positive for drugs or alcohol or refusal to be tested. Drivers testing positive for drugs and/or alcohol shall be removed permanently by Vendor from all Board runs. Drivers shall be suspended from operating Board runs during any investigation to determine or confirm the presence or levels of drugs or alcohol in the driver’s system. Drivers must keep trip itineraries indicating the streets to be driven, the assigned stops, the pickup and drop off times for each student, student names, addresses, emergency contact information, home phone numbers as well as a second itinerary incorporating any necessary changes for the afternoon run.
Driver Requirements. All drivers need to have a current required driver’s license, medical cards, and DOT physical based on size of vehicle driven.
Driver Requirements. ● All drivers must possess a valid drivers license for the entire rental period. ● Minimum age is 25 years old. ● Only drivers listed on the contract are allowed to drive. ● A special license is not required. The renter is responsible for: ● Checking coolant and engine oil levels at each refueling. ● Reporting mechanical failures immediately. ● Receiving authorization before any major repairs. The renter may be held responsible for mechanical damage due to negligence in operation and/or not performing normal maintenance. ● Retain parts and receipts for items replaced by a repair shop in order to be refunded. Renter may make any reasonable maintenance purchases under $100 without permission. (e.g. windshield wiper replacement, oil, antifreeze, wiper fluid). Renter will be reimbursed upon return and a receipt is provided. The renter is responsible for the cost of all fuels, such as gas, and propane, during the rental period and must ensure that all levels are topped up before returning the Motorhome. $50 + cost of gas or propane will be charged if not returned full.
Driver Requirements. (1) Drivers must have in their possession and present when requested by the Authority or its designees a valid Florida chauffeur’s license authorizing the driver to operate the vehicle being operated by the driver at the Airport.
(2) Drivers must meet United States Department of Transportation standard for training and certification on an ongoing basis.
(3) Drivers must have a valid permit or license issued by all applicable governmental authorities.
(4) Drivers must conduct themselves in a dignified manner.
(5) Drivers must maintain a clean, neat appearance so as not to be offensive to the passengers engaging their services.
(6) Driver’s employer must have a current operating permit with the Xxxxxxx Airport Authority.
(7) Employees shall not be involved in selling other services than those for which they are authorized by permit to provide at the Airport.
(8) Xxxxxxxx’s supervisory staff must be on duty when vehicles are in service at the Airport.
Driver Requirements. Customer acknowledges and agrees that each Driver shall at all times: (a) hold and maintain (i) a valid driver's license with the appropriate level of certification to operate the Vehicle assigned to such Driver, and (ii) all licenses, permits, approvals and authority applicable to Customer and/or Driver that are necessary to provide passenger transportation services to third parties in the Territory; (b) possess the appropriate and current level of training, expertise and experience to provide Transportation Services in a professional manner with due skill, care and diligence; and (c) maintain high standards of professionalism, service and courtesy. Customer acknowledges and agrees that each Driver may be subject to certain background and driving record checks from time to time in order for such Driver to qualify to provide, and remain eligible to provide, Transportation Services. In addition if Customer and/or Driver are using the Uber App to provide Transportation Services in conjunction with operating a taxi (“Taxi Services”), such Customer and/or Driver shall comply with all applicable laws with respect thereto. Customer acknowledges and agrees that Uber reserves the right, at any time in Uber's sole discretion, to deactivate or otherwise restrict a Driver from accessing or using the Driver App or the Uber Services if Customer or such Driver fails to meet the requirements set forth in this Agreement or the Driver Addendum.
Driver Requirements. Drivers selected for special education routes will be on a three- month trial period, after which time they may continue on the special education run or return to a regular bus route.
Driver Requirements. 7:9.1 Employees required to operate a Board vehicle, if required pursuant to the National Safety Code as may be amended from time to time, shall provide a written authorization to the Board, by August 30 of each year, to allow the Board to obtain an official summary of their driving record.
7:9.2 Where the Motor Vehicle Branch requires a physical or medical examination, the request shall be promptly complied with by all employees required to operate a Board vehicle. The Board shall pay the cost for all such physical or medical examinations and any time loss during working hours.

The District shall not permit or require any driver to drive more than ten (10) hours following eight (8) consecutive hours off duty or for any period after having been on duty fifteen (15) hours following eight (8) consecutive hours off duty. Refer to Federal Motor Safety Regulations. If the trip does not allow the driver to meet this requirement, the Transportation Department shall assign a different driver.
23.9.4.2. The bus must stop approximately every two (2) hours or every one-hundred (100) miles for ten (10) minutes for a tire check and leg stretch.
