Eligibility Criteria and Procedures for Subprojects. (a) Subprojects shall be prepared on an annual basis, submitted to the Health Program Task Force at the respective Prefectoral level for approval, and subsequently to the respective Prefectoral Director of Health for signature. (b) No proposed Subproject shall be eligible for financing under the Project unless the Health Program Task Force has determined, on the basis of an appraisal conducted in accordance with this Section, the PIM, and the MFAAP, that the proposed Subproject satisfies the eligibility criteria specified below and in further detail in the PIM and the MFAAP, which shall include, inter alia, the following: (i) the proposed Subproject shall be initiated by a Community group, civil society organization, or private sector entity which meets the eligibility criteria specified in the PIM, and such group, organization, or entity shall be eligible for subsequent Subproject Grants if it has completed the Subproject to the satisfaction of the Borrower and the Association; (ii) the proposed Subproject shall be for, but not limited to, activities set forth in Part A.2 (d) of the Project and further detailed in the PIM; (iii) the investment cost of each proposed Subproject shall not exceed $10,000 equivalent, except as previously agreed with the Association; and (iv) the financing of the proposed Subproject shall be fully covered by the amount of the Subproject Grant. (c) No proposed Subproject activity shall be eligible for financing under the Project if the Health Program Task Force at Prefectoral level has determined, on the basis of an appraisal conducted in accordance with this Section and the PIM, that the proposed Subproject activity satisfies any of the non-eligibility criteria specified in the PIM.

Eligibility Criteria and Procedures for Subprojects. The Recipient shall make Sub-grants to Beneficiaries in accordance with eligibility criteria and procedures acceptable to the Association and further outlined in the PIM, which shall include the following: (a) the proposed Beneficiary is a village or a community in a selected sub-catchment; (b) the proposed Subproject: (i) consists of specific development activities designed to generate community benefits such as: (A) natural resource conservation interventions, including upstream rain water harvesting and storage, sediment retention structures, gully erosion control, planting multipurpose trees, afforestation and reforestation; (B) livelihood improvement interventions, including horticulture, terracing, aquaculture, livestock development, small scale irrigation, energy efficient cook stoves, and latrines; (C) low-cost technologies aimed at reducing post harvest losses to fish, horticultural, and livestock products; and supply chain linkages; (ii) is economically and technically viable; and (iii) is in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations of the Recipient relating to safety, health and environmental protection;
Eligibility Criteria and Procedures for Subprojects. Except as the Association may otherwise agree in writing, no proposed Subproject shall be eligible for financing under Part 3(a) of the Project unless: (a) the DPCT responsible for the area in which the Subproject is located has developed, in a participatory manner acceptable to the Association, with local community members, and in accordance with guidelines acceptable to the Association, a plan for the rehabilitation of the catchment area in which the Subproject is located; and (b) the Recipient has determined, on the basis of an appraisal (including an environmental and social assessment for the Subproject conducted in accordance with the ESMF), conducted in accordance with guidelines acceptable to the Association, that the proposed Subproject satisfies the eligibility criteria specified below, as the same may be elaborated upon in the Project Implementation Manual: (i) the proposed Beneficiary is a village or a community in a selected sub-catchment; (ii) the proposed Subproject: (A) consists of specific development activities designed to generate community benefits such as: (1) natural resource conservation interventions, including upstream rain water harvesting and storage, small water reservoirs, sediment retention dams, gully erosion control, planting multipurpose trees, afforestation, and reforestation; and

Eligibility Criteria and Procedures for Subprojects. (a) No proposed Subproject shall be eligible for financing out of the proceeds of the Grant unless the respective Regional Office has determined, on the basis of an appraisal conducted in accordance with the guidelines set forth in the Reintegration and Community Rehabilitation Manuals, that the Subproject satisfies eligibility criteria and procedures satisfactory to the Association and set out in the Reintegration and Community Rehabilitation Manuals, and which shall include the following: (i) the Subproject shall be proposed by an individual, group of individuals, or community-based or other non-governmental organization which fulfils the eligibility criteria set out in the Reintegration and Community Rehabilitation Manuals; and such individual, group, or organization shall be eligible for future Sub-financings if it has completed the preceding Subproject to the satisfaction of the Association and the Recipient; (ii) the proposed Subproject shall be for any of the types of activities set out under Part 1 (b) or 3 (a) of the Project, and in further detail in the Reintegration and Community Rehabilitation Manuals; and (iii) the cost of the proposed Subproject is entirely covered by the amount of the Sub-financing and, in the case of Subprojects under Part 1 (b) of the Project, a credit obtained from an appropriate local financial institution as needed. (b) No proposed Subproject shall be eligible for financing under the Project if the respective Regional Office has determined, on the basis of an appraisal conducted in accordance with this Section and the Reintegration and Community Rehabilitation Manuals, that the proposed Subproject meets any of the non-eligibility criteria set out in the Reintegration and Community Rehabilitation Manuals, which shall include, inter alia, the following: (i) the proposed Subproject shall be for activities political or religious in nature; (ii) the proposed Subproject could potentially have an adverse environmental or social impact; (iii) the proposed Subproject shall be for investments not proven to be in compliance with applicable agrarian or land law; and (iv) the proposed Subproject shall be for activities relating to the production of tobacco or hallucinogen plants.

  • Eligibility Criteria Students seeking college credit through this bilateral articulation agreement must meet the following criteria/requirements: • The student must have completed the secondary Tech Prep competencies (academic and technical) relevant to the Central Ohio Technical College courses, with a grade of A, B, or C. • An application and subsequent matriculation to Information Technology and Digital Media Design Technology Programs at Central Ohio Technical College must occur within 3 years of the high school graduation date. • The student is responsible to inform college admissions personnel of his/her eligibility for articulated college credit and verify that appropriate documentation has been provided to the college by the secondary school. • Secondary instructors are required to have the appropriate teaching credential as defined by the Ohio Department of Education. • For the purpose of compliance with state, program or regional accreditation standards, Central Ohio Technical College reserves the right to review, validate and copy the credentials (e.g., college transcripts and resumes) of the instructors of articulated courses for external auditing purposes. • The secondary instructor(s) will complete an Instructor Recommendation Form for each student upon completion which will be maintained in the student’s secondary permanent file. An Instructor Recommendation Form must be submitted to the Records and Registration Office prior to receiving credit. • The college and secondary school will develop methods of publicizing the agreement to encourage students to take advantage of seamless transitions and advanced placement opportunities. • There will be no charge for college credit awarded through this agreement. • Student eligibility for technical or related credit is primarily determined by high school teachers evaluation based upon predetermined criteria set by the college. In certain cases, record of relevant student external certification, college proficiency testing, review of portfolios, or other forms of assessment may also be required. • Placement in Central Ohio Technical College’s courses is determined by the college’s official placement policy. Credit is available only for the technical courses specified on the attached list of articulated courses. • Articulated courses are recorded on the student’s permanent records after a student enrolls in and completes a non-articulated college credit hour at Central Ohio Technical College.
