ELIGIBILITY FOR APPOINTMENT. Subject to the terms of this Agreement but otherwise at its or their sole discretion, the Board of Trustees or the President of each State University may grant appointments hereunder and terminate such appointments. A person may be granted an appointment at any rank in keeping with the following requirements. These requirements apply to persons engaged to teach in the individual Programs of Graduate and Continuing Education at the State Universities. Exceptions to these requirements may be made for sound academic reasons in certain specialized areas and under other special circumstances with the approval of the Board of Trustees or the President as its designee. Nothing in these requirements should be construed to prohibit the appointment of an individual of exceptional talent or accomplishment who does not meet all the stated criteria. In considering candidates for exceptional appointments, the Board of Trustees or the President shall pay due regard in the alternative to: (a) evidence of the ability of the candidate to render a unique academic contribution to the University, or (b) evidence of a candidate's extraordinary competence in the area of the candidate's discipline or specialty, or (c) evidence that the discipline or specialty of the candidate does not customarily demand fulfillment of those academic degree requirements set forth by the Board as minimum criteria for appointment to each rank. For the purposes of this Article a year of college or university teaching shall be defined as:
i. one academic year of employment as a full-time faculty member appointed at the rank of Instructor, Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor at a regionally accredited institution of higher education; or
ii. teaching experience equivalent to twenty-four (24) semester hours of credit of instruction at a regionally accredited institution of higher education.
ELIGIBILITY FOR APPOINTMENT. No person other than a Director retiring by rotation or a director appointed pursuant to Article 90.2 shall be appointed a Director at any general meeting unless he is recommended by the Directors or, not less than seven nor more than forty two Clear Days before the date appointed for the meeting, a notice executed by a Member entitled to vote at the meeting has been given to the Company of the intention to propose that person for appointment stating the particulars which would be required, if he were so appointed, to be included in the Company's register of Directors together with notice executed by that person of his willingness to be appointed. No Director shall be required to retire on account of age.
ELIGIBILITY FOR APPOINTMENT as Staff, Fellows, and Associated Members of the Personnel
ELIGIBILITY FOR APPOINTMENT. You must be a registered graduate student at the University of Lethbridge throughout the duration of your appointment. If you are not a Canadian citizen, this appointment is expressly contingent upon you meeting and continuing to meet eligibility requirements for employment, as set out in the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act and Regulations. It is further contingent upon the University of Lethbridge receiving regular “confirmation,” if required by Service Canada. Should you be ineligible for employment at any time, or should the University of Lethbridge be unable to obtain “confirmation” if required, this appointment shall be rendered null and void effective immediately. Maximum Hours: It is the Employee’s responsibility to ensure that they do not accept an Offer of Appointment that will result in the Employee’s hours of work exceeding the maximum per Academic Term (224 hours) without the prior written approval of the Xxxx of the School of Graduate Studies and the Union. Appointments that will result in the Employee’s hours of work exceeding the maximum per Academic Term, and for which there is no prior written approval, may be terminated or amended within compliance without notice.
ELIGIBILITY FOR APPOINTMENT. 3.1 Only Graduate students who hold a bachelor’s degree, who are admitted as degree candidates in the Graduate School, and who remain in good academic standing shall be appointed to Graduate Assistantships.
3.1.1 Good academic standing shall be defined to include full or part time graduate work, a grade point average of 3.0 or above and progress toward the completion of the degree requirements. Graduate students appointed to Graduate must be registered for full-time graduate work, which requires a minimum of 6 credits each semester and should not register for more than 12 credits each semester without the approval of the major professor, department chair and Graduate School. Progress towards completion of the degree requirements shall include course credits completed, submission of the Program of Study, submission of the Thesis Proposal, scheduling and successful completion of oral and written defenses and submission of thesis or dissertation as determined by the major professor, department chair, xxxx of the college and Graduate School.
ELIGIBILITY FOR APPOINTMENT. Any representative of the Commercial Development, the Station and the Depot or any member of an Owners’ Sub-Committee for any Phase shall be eligible for appointment to the Development Owners’ Committee provided, in the latter case, he is also :-
ELIGIBILITY FOR APPOINTMENT. As a condition precedent to Resident’s appointment to the Program, Resident shall provide Hospital with the following documentation, all of which shall be fully completed to Hospital’s satisfaction prior to the Commencement Date:
(a) A completed residency application.
(b) Primary source verification demonstrating that Resident graduated from: i) an appropriately accredited medical school in the United States or Canada; ii) an AOA-accredited college of osteopathic medicine in the United States; iii) an appropriately accredited dental school in the United States or Canada; or iv) a medical school outside of the United States and Canada, provided that Resident also meets all additional Accrediting Agency qualifications (e.g., currently-valid Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (“ECFMG”) certificate, etc.).
(c) An original Xxxx’x letter from the medical school or college from which Resident graduated, if not already provided with application.
(d) A minimum of two (2) letters of reference from practicing physicians, as required by the program if required by program.
(e) Acceptable documentation under Applicable Law verifying identity and employment eligibility in the United States.
(f) Primary source verification of any prior Graduate Medical Education training.
(g) A valid Ohio Training Certificate, a completed application with the State Medical Board of Ohio for an Ohio Training Certificate, or a copy of a permanent and unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Ohio.
(h) Proof that Resident has passed the required USMLE/COMLEX, PODIATRIC or Dental board examination(s) for the applicable PGY.
(i) Any additional documentation required by Hospital or the Program for appointment/promotion of Resident to the applicable PGY.
(j) Any additional information that Hospital or the Program may request in connection with Resident’s credentials or eligibility, including but not limited to and as applicable proof of successful completion of any prior postgraduate year(s). Notwithstanding anything in this Agreement to the contrary, if Resident fails to timely provide Hospital with all the documentation required in this Section, or fails to fully and accurately complete any of that documentation to Hospital’s satisfaction, Hospital may declare this Agreement null and void, and Resident shall have no rights under this Agreement.

ELIGIBILITY FOR APPOINTMENT. The ITA represents that he/she possesses the requisite training, education and knowledge to serve as an Independent Travel Agent (ITA). Furthermore, in order to enhance ATB's image, it is company policy that only properly trained persons serve as ITA's. In this regard, ATB will require each ITA to prove to ATB that he/she has reviewed and understands the ATB training manual by completing the test at the end of the Travel Agent Guide (TAG). ATB will provide continuing training for all current ITA's. ATB will make available to ITA sales training and aids, marketing information, periodic newsletters, ticket ordering facilities and commission reports.
