Employee Review of Personnel File. An Employee shall have the right, during regular office hours and under reasonable procedures as established by the Superintendent, to periodically review the Employee’s personnel file exclusive of personal references, within (3) school days of the Employee’s request. Upon such review, an Employee may receive a single copy of any document contained therein not previously provided to the Employee, exclusive of personal references. Materials may be removed by mutual agreement between the Employee and the Superintendent, but the final decision to remove shall be at the discretion of the Superintendent.

Employee Review of Personnel File. By written request, an employee will be entitled to examine the contents of his/her Personnel File in Human Resources during regular hours of work. By employee written request, adverse reports and disciplinary actions more than two years old will be cleared from the employee’s Personnel File if no further adverse reports or disciplinary actions have been submitted.

Employee Review of Personnel File. Employees shall have the right to review their official personnel file and/or any other personnel file maintained by the County upon reasonable advance written notice to their Department Head and/or Personnel Office. However, this right shall not be abused. A designated representative of the employer will be present during the review of a personnel file. No materials will be removed from their personnel file by the employee. An employee will be provided a copy of any performance document in their file at no charge if such document was not given to the employee previously. An employee may be charged twenty-five (25) cents per page for a copy of any performance document they had received previously or any other non-performance document in their file. Multiple copies of the same document need not be provided. Such review shall not include any reports, memorandum or other documents related to pre-employment recommendations/investigations. Employees have the right to place in their personnel file a written response of reasonable length to any thing they consider adverse to them. A County representative will sign and date such responses. Employees will be required to sign and date a record showing the review of their file.

Nothing shall be placed in the employee's personnel file nor shall anything be removed from the file without the consent of the Elected Official/Department Head, nor without the Employee's knowledge.

Examples of reasonable accommodations may include, but are not limited to, the following: changing work schedule; reassigning duties; or placing a qualified employee in a different available position. This will be done without regard to the seniority provisions of this Agreement, where necessary.
Employee Review of Personnel File. An employee may request to review his/her personnel file maintained by the District. Such request for review shall be in writing, scheduled at a mutually convenient time and will be observed by a District representative. Excluded from review shall be any confidential materials. Confidential materials as defined in this section shall include, recommendations for employment or promotion, as well as initial employment references.

Employee Review of Personnel File. Employees shall have the right, upon request to their immediate supervisor, to review the contents of his/her personnel file. Such review may be made during working hours with no loss of pay for time spent, and the employee may be accompanied by a Union Representative if he/she so wishes. Reasonable requests to copy documents in the file shall be honored at no cost to the employee. A copy of any disciplinary action or material related to employee performance which is placed in the personnel file shall be served upon the employee (the employee so noting receipt). The parties agree that an employee’s failure to challenge any material in such file is not meant to construe that the employee is in agreement with any such material.
Employee Review of Personnel File. An employee may review his personnel file upon request, at a time mutually convenient to both the Employer and employee. Such review will take place in the Human Resources Department. No materials may be removed from or placed into the file without the Job & Family Service Director’s consent.
