EXTENDED CONTRACT DAYS. An extended contract day shall be defined as a day beyond the basic 172-day commitment outlined in Article VII, Terms and Conditions of Employment, Section B.3, and Section D.2. Salary shall be computed at the rate of 1/172 of the academic employee’s base 172-day contract amount for each day of the extended assignment. Extended contracts shall be calculated based upon the salary in effect for the fiscal year during which the extended days were worked. All extended assignments must be approved by the College President or his/her designee and shall be specified in a separate, written contract executed between the academic employee and the Employer at least one (1) week prior to the first extended day to be worked. Nothing in this Article shall be construed to require the Employer to offer extended contracts.
EXTENDED CONTRACT DAYS. It is understood that the following positions may be contracted for a number of days beyond the board approved days for the 2022-2023 contract for Certified Staff Members. If any of these positions are contracted beyond the board approved days, the compensation for these days shall be based on a daily rate of the individual filling that position. EXTENDED CONTRACT DAYS. Payment for extended contract days will be made at the certificated employee’s daily rate.
EXTENDED CONTRACT DAYS. Faculty Appointment shall mean full-time employment as a teacher, counselor, librarian, or other position for which the training, experience and responsibilities are comparable as determined by the appointing authority, except administrative appointments. Academic employee appointment shall also mean department heads, division deans and administrators to the extent that such department heads, division deans or administrators have had or do have status as a teacher, counselor, or librarian. RCW 28B.50.851(2). The term “academic employee” as used in Articles VII-XI in the Agreement will imply that such academic employee has a “faculty appointment” per this definition. See Agreement, Article VIII,
EXTENDED CONTRACT DAYS will be designated immediately before or after the contract year. The days need not be equally split but will best meet the needs of the students. These days will be arranged by mutual consent of the teacher and the administrator.
EXTENDED CONTRACT DAYS. All Wakonda Elementary School PK-6 staff will be assigned 195 day contract. 176 days will be extended length student contact duty days. 14 days will be regular length non-student contact duty days as included in the negotiated agreement. Five (5) additional days will be regular length professional development duty days.
EXTENDED CONTRACT DAYS. The Xxxxxx Focus School staff will be assigned 204 day contract. The Xxxxxx Focus School Staff will have 14 non-student contract days during each contract year. These 14 days will be for the purpose of professional training, teacher work days, or collaborative plan time
EXTENDED CONTRACT DAYS. Extended Contract Days are deemed necessary ONLY by the Superintendent, pending approval by the School Board. Compensation for extended days will be based on the average daily rate (ADR) of the teacher’s current base contract.
EXTENDED CONTRACT DAYS. Teachers may be employed for contract days in addition to the base contract year. Teachers employed for additional contract days will be extended the same terms and conditions of employment, including salary benefits, as provided for in the contract which was signed for the base contract year.
EXTENDED CONTRACT DAYS. Teachers who work more or less than the base contract year, except those teachers specifically designated as substitute teachers, shall have their salary determined on a daily basis. Their salary shall be determined by dividing the base contract salary by one hundred eighty one and multiplying this figure by the total number of contract days actually worked.
