Flexible Remuneration. The Employee mutually agree with the Employer in writing to a salary sacrifice an amount of their wages to their nominated superannuation fund.

Flexible Remuneration. 25.2.1. Notwithstanding any other provisions of any Award/Agreement applying to the Company at the commencement of this Clause, an employee may participate in a salary sacrifice program in relation to superannuation contributions. 25.2.2. The employee may request to receive ordinary time wages payable in accordance with this Agreement minus an amount diverted into additional superannuation contributions under this program. 25.2.3. Any request to participate in the program shall be in a form approved by the company. 25.2.4. An employee who takes any paid leave shall receive the ordinary wages payable after deductions made under this Clause in lieu of salary and wages and other amounts payable under the relevant Award/Agreement. 25.2.5. Any other Award/Agreement payment (including overtime, annual leave loading and termination payments) will be calculated as if the contribution in 25.2.2 had not been deducted from the wages. 25.2.6. Each employee participating in the program under this Clause shall receive written confirmation of relevant information, including the post arrangement gross wage rates, net wage rates and any other payment that may be affected by the arrangement. 25.2.7. Written confirmation as specified in subclause 25.2.6 above shall be provided again whenever the employee's wage rate changes.

Flexible Remuneration. (i) A team member may, by mutual agreement with the Company: participate in a salary sacrifice program in relation to Superannuation or any other benefit agreed to by the Company; and request to receive wages payable in accordance with this Agreement, minus the amount diverted into contributions under this program. (ii) A team member whose request is accepted by the Company, will receive the benefit and wages prescribed under this clause in lieu of wages and other amounts payable under this Agreement. (iii) Any request under sub‐clause 1.3.1(b)(i) above will be in the form prescribed by the Company. (iv) A team member who takes any paid leave shall receive the benefit and wages prescribed under this clause in lieu of wages and other amounts payable under this Agreement. (v) Any other Agreement payment, including termination payments, calculated by reference to the team members wages as provided in this Agreement will be calculated by reference to the total of wages and benefits provided in clause 4.2 (Wage Rates – Adults) of this Agreement unless this clause specifically provides otherwise. (vi) Each team member participating in benefits available under this clause shall receive written confirmation of relevant information including the post arrangement gross wage rates, net wage rates and any other payment that may be affected by the arrangement. (vii) Written confirmation as specified in sub‐clause 1.3.1 (b)(vi) above shall be provided upon any adjustment to pre‐arrangement wage rates under this Agreement or reclassification. (viii) For all other purposes, after taking into account the deductions made pursuant to sub‐clause 1.3.1

Any request under 5.5.2 above will be in the form prescribed by the Company. 5.2.2.2 A team member who takes any paid leave shall receive the benefit and wages prescribed under this Clause in lieu of wages and other amounts payable under this Agreement. 5.2.2.3 Any other Agreement payment, including termination payments, calculated by reference to the team member’s wages as provided in this Agreement will be calculated by reference to the total of wages and benefits provided in Clause 5, Wages and Related Matters unless this Clause specifically provides otherwise. 5.5.2.4 Each team member participating in benefits available under this Clause shall receive written confirmation of relevant information including the post arrangement gross wage rates, net wage rates and any other payment that may be affected by the arrangement.

Flexible Remuneration. (a) An employee may participate in a salary sacrifice program in relation to superannuation contributions into the Fund into which the Company is required to make contributions in accordance with the relevant Superannuation Guarantee Legislation. The employee must specify an amount as a percentage of ordinary time earnings by which the employee’s wage is to be reduced ("the salary sacrifice"). (b) The employee may request to receive ordinary time earnings payable in accordance with this Agreement minus an amount directed into additional superannuation contributions under this program. The Company will continue to calculate the contributions required by Clause 35.3 on the basis of the employee's ordinary time earnings before the salary sacrifice is deducted. (c) Any request to participate in the program shall be in a form approved by the Company. (d) An employee who takes any paid leave shall receive the ordinary wages payable after deductions made under this clause in lieu of salary and wages and other amounts payable under this Agreement. (e) Any other agreement payment (including overtime, penalty rates, shift loadings, annual leave loading and termination payments) will be calculated as if the contribution in Clause 36.2(b) had not been deducted from the wages. (f) Each employee participating in the program under this Clause shall receive written confirmation of relevant information, including the post arrangement gross wage rates, net wage rates and any other payment that may be affected by the arrangement. (g) Written confirmation as specified in Clause 36.2(f) above, shall be provided again whenever the employee's wage rates changes.

Any request under 5.4.2 above will be in the form prescribed by the Company.

Flexible Remuneration. (i) In this clause, "Plan" means the terms under which flexible remuneration benefits may be offered by the company at its absolute discretion from time to time to employees by way of a sacrifice of wages payable under this award. Without limitation, the benefits may include, for example, superannuation contributions and employee share plans.

Flexible Remuneration. 15.2.1 A Team Member may, by mutual agreement with Officeworks: (a) participate in a salary sacrifice program in relation to Superannuation or any other benefit agreed to by Officeworks; and (b) request to receive wages payable in accordance with this Agreement, minus the amount diverted into contributions under this program. 15.2.2 A Team Member whose request is accepted by Officeworks, will receive the benefit and wages prescribed under this Clause in lieu of wages and other amounts payable under this Agreement. 15.2.3 Any request under 15.2.1 above will be in the form prescribed by Officeworks. 15.2.4 A Team Member who takes any paid leave will receive the benefit and wages prescribed under this Clause in lieu of wages and other amounts payable under this Agreement. 15.2.5 Any other Agreement payment, including termination payments, calculated by reference to the team member’s wages as provided in this Agreement will be calculated by reference to the total of wages and benefits provided in Clause 11.3 and 12, Rates of Pay unless this Clause specifically provides otherwise. 15.2.6 Each Team Member participating in benefits available under this Clause will receive written confirmation of relevant information including the post arrangement gross wage rates, net wage rates and any other payment that may be affected by the arrangement. 15.2.7 Written confirmation as specified in Clause 15.2.6 above will be provided upon any adjustment to pre-arrangement wage rates under this Agreement or reclassification. 15.2.8 For all other purposes, after taking into account the deductions made pursuant to Clause 15.2.1 above a Team Member will not receive less than the rate specified in Clause 11.3 and 12, Rates of Pay, of this Agreement for the relevant classification for the team member.

Flexible Remuneration. 14.1 Council will provide opportunities for employees to salary sacrifice a portion of their pre-tax ordinary pay for items deemed by the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) from time to time as exempt benefits. 14.2 In addition, Council will consider requests from employees to salary sacrifice their payments under the Council’s Vehicle Lease Back Scheme. 14.3 Employees wishing to take advantage of these arrangements are required to seek independent financial advice (at their cost) to ensure such arrangements are suited to both

Flexible Remuneration. 17.1 MCW will provide opportunities for employees to salary sacrifice a portion of their pre-tax ordinary pay for items deemed by the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) from time to time as exempt benefits. 17.2 In addition, MCW will consider requests from employees to: • enter into a novated lease arrangement for vehicles, provided the employee meets all costs, including Fringe Benefit Tax; • receive an in-house benefit in the form of a reduction in water account at the ATO approved rate (which will be adjusted from time to time in line with the Australian Taxation Office adjustments) in lieu of receiving the equivalent amount in wages under this agreement; • salary sacrifice their payments under the MCW Vehicle Lease Back Scheme. 17.3 Employees wishing to take advantage of these arrangements are required to seek independent financial advice (at their cost) to ensure such arrangements are suited to both their short and long-term circumstances, including superannuation and FBT implications.
